    Old friends, occasional bursts of fun.

    Haven't managed to get into anything else so.. I still play.
    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
    #Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#
    If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

    ~The game's still a nice looking F2P world; I love the concept of it...just not the way it has been handled.

    When the glove drops, and the game is over, and they shut It down and run off into the sunset with the billions of your hard earned dollars/pesos/yen ect, what then can you say that you have accomplished? If you plant a seed but nothing grows, why would you return to the vendor to buy more worthless seeds? Im sorry PWE but I do not buy that wich has no value. If I put in time (and I have given 2 years to this game) I would like to see results that dont come from glitchs/hacks or buying my way to the top. I got to my lvl through hard work and button mashing and long hours. I choose a wizard (now one of the most neglected classes hands down). The road has been long and I have not even reached the end of it. But in my heart I have died to the possiblity of my long hours and hard work alone being able to get me to the finish line. Those who have glitched a R9 +12 on each charter now own the servers they are on. They have the factions and they run the shops and the instances are a 2 min cash Grab for them. If I put in the time I expect to see dividens for my efforts. There are some nice people in this game and thats why I log on once and awhile. It has become a chatroom with avatars that slash and shoot magic at little pixleated baddies. Nothing more. I find it more intresting to play Ragnorok with its cartoonish sytle, or DC Universe Online, becase being a caped superhero is fun! Remember FUN? Thats what PWI used to be! D&D online you can go thru instances over and over just like PWI but there if you wanna solo you can reguardless of your class. You can choose the difficulty of the instance before you enter so if all your friends are offline because its 3am you can still go play without getting pwned. Why log on to PWI and fly around doing nothing cause no one is on! Or no one wants to help you unless your doing what they want? Im sorry but If I wanna play I should be able to. I wanna go on the roller coster and scream and have fun, not spend 30 mins pukeing at each turn. That what PWI is doing to alot of people. Not to mention, that new games, new platforms, new systems are coming out. Get with the times or shut it off. When Bethesda desides to make Elderscrolls online by by PWI. Guild Wars 2? By by PWI. Diablo III. By by PWI. WOW 2. Your fired PWI! Oh wait you dont have to wait for all these games to come out to be frustrated and finished and bored with PWI, they are doing that already. PWI thanks for being a fancy looking chatroom that I can fly around in and do nothing. My time is worth more then that. I wont be giving you much more then a log on here or there to say Yo to my buds and see if they need me. But most likely those who are still in school can manage, and those who are retired just like to chat. PWI your the game I turn to now when DCUO is offline and D&D is offline, and Ive beaten Skyrim to bits. But dont worry I wont turn to you for long because new games are on the horrizen!     Of course PWE can buy and manage all those games (even buying the developer), guess how many people charge zen and gamble on PWI alone.

    Of all the games I've played, this game has by far the best ability for character customization, and I absolutely love the way my character looks. If I could paste my character exactly as she looks now into any of the other games I play, I doubt I'd bother playing this.

    I wouldn't say I "play" much anymore. I spend most of my time just running flips and talking in faction, or helping friends when they need it. I don't have any more actual goals for myself though. Most of the people I used to play with got bored and moved on to other games. I've considered rolling on a new server to meet new people, but since pre-100 is dead and I don't feel like CSing heads to hit 100, I've decided against it. Besides, it would likely not be any different on any other server. b:surrender

    Why Do I play this game? That, my good sir, is a question every gamer should "Sticky" in their head when they play any game.. I play this game for reasons that some may not like. I like the challenge. Working for Ranked armor and Niv and MONEY. Some people may dislike that you can't run things because no one is one. Some say, "This game is dead, Don't spend your time and money on it". However, if you think about it. This is a GAME if you would like to be strict when it comes to not spending your money A.K.A. Seeds/time, then don't play games unless it's your job/major(like mine is).
    IF you think about it every game can be called, "dead and a waste of time", for it is a game.
    I LOVE games any game as gaming being my major I look at it as a magnificent thing.

    You quit right? So, May I ask you why you left? Think about all the reasons you left. Think about all of the good and bad times 50/50? 30/70? 0/100?

    P.S. I feel a sleepy so don't count everything I just said :D

    Because with my schedule I figured a F2P game would be better and cheaper than P2P, since there is always a possibility I don't get a chance to play.

    Oddly enough, in the 6 months I've been playing, I've spent enough money on PWI to play any P2P game for the next 5 to 7 years. It will be interesting when I actually reach a high level and decide if and how much I want to spend on things like armor/weapons.

    And I spend money because I can plus I budget money for entertainment, good scotch, and cigars

    I play because I've met some really good friends, because my rl dad introduced me to it, and I met my rl fiance on this game. It's fun with friends. Without them, I'd probably spend more time on a console game or reading a good book (which I still manage to spend time doing). It is also a good distraction from the stresses of real life. the money I've spent on this game, is because I can afford to. I can't afford r9 +12 blah blah blah, but I can afford decent stuff to have fun with. besides, I've probably spent more on console games throughout the 2 1/2 decades :P

    question for those of ya'll that don't play: why stick to the forums? friends? ok, that I can understand.
