Client version too low?

Alright I patched my game the other day after it was done maintenance and I tried to log in. I put in all my information and when I hit start I get this little window that says,

"Your current client program version is too low. Please exit and update."

I tried doing a manual patch but it didn't work since my current client version is the latest one.

Anyone else having this issue or am I the only one?

Hit verify. It'll check all yours files to make sure what version your client is at and then offer to update if it is not up to date.

Okay, so I just had the same problem about 2 minutes ago and figured out why we all get that damn message and can't update our clients no matter what the hell we do!!!!!

I use dual client all the time and recently, I haven't been able to get passed the "Client version too low, please exit and update" pop up.

    Option 1:
    (Start>Computer>Hard Drive>Perfect World Entertainment>Perfect World International>Patcher> Patcher *w/Icon*)

You'll get the usual PWI updater before clicking the "Start" button. If its updating, thats a good sign!!!! It means you have successfully updated the damn "client version that was too low", (which solved my problem)

Option 2: Click the "Verify" button before starting the game on your PWI updater. It could take a long time to verify.. I mean a really really long time. It took about 2 hours for my computer to update, but I guess it depends on how fast your computer/internet is.

Option 3: Make sure your firewall/Anti Virus w/e is not blocking Perfect World and is in the "exceptions" list of programs.

If all else fails, send a Ticket.

Hope this helps for anyone experiencing the same thing!

I was expierencing the same problem but mine started after i did a system restore on the computer. It said that my client version is to low altho its up to date. i did everything Lisserra had suggested altho i found the using the verify button was what actually worked...(seeing as how i did it last cause everyone keeps btching about the time it takes) b:chuckle

Let's point out a simple fact here...
    NECROOO!!!!!!!

Now the real question here is.....

How the flipping hell do you manage to reply to a thread OVER A YEAR OLD that's freaking been answered already?

I mean, that takes some real skill to do. It's got to. I'm aware of how the forums search engine works. You've got to pull some neat tricks to get it to find threads more than 3 months old. I mean, we're talking about reading through 7 bloody pages of threads that already had similar answers before getting to this one and responding to it.

Wow, just wow. And then to Necro it. I mean, when we're already that far into the rabbit hole, we know we're digging into graves. You went deep into the catacombs to raise this corpse.b:chuckle

Sorry, it's just too funny to see this happen, and this is one of the worst cases I've seen in a while. (Excluding the intentional necros when some troll seeks out a 3-year thread.)
