Farming r9

I've thought about r9 a lot and I'd want to get it on my seeker of all characters that I have (reasons aside). Although it isn't 2x now, I've still heard of ppl that can farm r9 with no 2x on. I have some simple questions for anyone that has farmed their r9.

1. How long does it take to farm ea piece without 2x? (ie. ring, 1 piece armor, wep)
2. As a seeker which is best to get first: armor or wep?

Other information on this would be helpful too. b:thanks

You can't "farm" it.

You can either merchant enough money for it, or you can just cash-shop it (my choice).

I mean, you could try grinding for it or farming stuff to sell to make the money for it, but you'd probably drive yourself insane in the process.

OP, you will be farming until you are blue in the face. You will farm so long, at current prices, R15 will be out by the time you farm your R9.

Merchant your R9. Unless you were being broad with your terms, and meant 'farming' to be an all-inclusive term to encompass all ToS legal activities to gain the coin to turn into gold to get the Medals/chips for your R9, including Farming and merching.

In that case, if you do everything you can to gain coins, with the current economy in game, the answer is...

Nobody has a ****ing clue. Could be weeks. Could be months. Could be years at this rate, honestly. Merchanting just died bigtime. Farming is about as dead as it gets right now.

My suggestion is to farm/Merchant in real life, then just cash shop it. Use your game time to play the game, instead of using your game time to farm stuff to play the game later. But to each their own.

I have full r9 +10 (except for pants) and i farmed all of it

Yeah the idea of farming rank 9 is not really very good, however I have done it. Is what I did...
I convinced my wife to help me an I bought a second pc. I make a sin lv 100 and cash shoped it to 5.0 +10 all with g13 daggers. Then used the sin to fc me a cleric, then a barb and bm for my wife. Then I farmed 5.0 for the bm and got it +12 2nd cast nirvy claws. Then Me on the sin an cleric an her on the bm an barb farmed tt 3-2 andf 3-3 till we had enough to get my sin +12 rank 9 daggers.........Then this last 2x both of us together farmed an entire set of rank 9 armor for my wizzy who I am currently power leveling so that she can even use it. Next will be farming the wizzy rank 9 weapon.

This took all told about three weeks after the tideborns came into existence or so untill now- I benefitted greatly from being one of the first few sins to realize I should cash shop all my gear into op to farm. Now with so many other sins- some even more cash shoped an oped than me- it is not so easy to farm an with only one person, yeah better off just buying it if your really wanting it or just make do with rank 8 an do trials with a faction till it is recasted.

Just be patient if you don't want to use real cash and quickly getting r9.
If you prefer farm & trading path, maybe about 6 month to 1 year (from scratch) if you are diligent.

since most of these people have given such unuseful replies, i felt the need to speak. I have a r9+10 veno friend who "farmed" her r9 buy making and seeling cube necks. she got 6 chars to 90 and gte their 3rd sparks then ran the cube daily. she said it cost her about 80 mil to make a neck and she sold em 140 mil. So 60 mil profit per neck.. do that a couple times and you'll have your r9. Only poblem is the cube can be a b**** and their isnt a 100% chance of getting the warosul mats.
