How balanced is this game?

So I'm starting this game right now and I was just wondering how the class/race balance is in this game.
Do any classes excel in PvP, any in PvE?

    Alternately,

    1.Buy your levels from FC hyper runs.
    2.Charge zen until you have full r9+12.
    3.Push a button and attack something.
    4.One-shot it.
    5.Quit due to boredom.

    This game is about as unbalanced as a game can yet. Tho they could improve it more; I shouldn't have to even use weapon to one shot someone my level.

    That's perfectly resumed.

    And for those who don't charge Zen, kill millions of mobs to get what someone worked 2-3 real life hours to be able to get.


    Best exemple : oht boots. 18 000 wraith items/4 per repeatable of 100 mobs =

    450 000 mobs to kill for something someone can get in a pack or for 25-30 mils..
    Proud supporter of the new expansion. Sure it has it's share of bugs, like any games. But for a pure farmer/grinder, that's a whole lot of new mobs to go beat up b:chuckle

    Balance? This game wouldn't know balance if it blew it's balls off with a nuclear bomb. One class can grossly out DPS every other class in the game, can solo a lot of the bosses, instances, and content, can farm better and faster, and is more or less cheaper to get to 'ultimate endgame DPS' than other classes (that is, 5.0).

    So, no, this game isn't balanced.

    The skills haven't been tweaked once in 3 years, and the 2 races/4 classes introduced in the past 2 took a rather decently balanced game and ruined it.

    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
    And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

    I don't see the relationship between the incredibly violent act you mentioned and balance.

    But to the OP, no this game isn't balanced. Not in the slightest.

    Nor will it ever be. The original developers left, and the new ones can't even fix the bugs. All they do is introduce new bugs with everything they put into the game.

    Wine is used to automatically clear most enemies .

    Generally speaking the gear in the game is way to strong, but as far as the characters go- yeah they are pretty balanced.

    The two instances that most people care about are dominated though by sins an so there are alot of whinners. However having one of nearly every class on multiple accounts, I can tell you with certainty that each class has its places where it excels and one class does not excel at absolutley everything..

    Usually the better a class is at Territory War the worse they are at making money in pve. That part seems balanced.

    In non-TW PVP sins are the best no one even doubts it.

    Endgame sins can make money the easiest because they can solo stuff the best and handle difficult instances.

    If you consider PWI to have 3 parts TW, pvp and pve then its unbalanced because sins are the best at 2 out of 3.

    I personally have zero interest in pvp and so from my own perspective its balanced enough for me. But from my perspective there's only 2 parts to PWI, not everyone thinks like that and I play on a pve server where pvp is optional.

    In one v one pvp sin do not dominate across the board. 1v1 pvp would have to be divided into economic classes because gear is the main factor. I would say Barbs rule pvp when you get into the most elite gears.--as in the most elite geared sin versus the most elite geared barb= barb wins more than half the time. Seekers too.
