Sin build r8-recast/nirv

What do u think about this build:

Main goal was to keep 4 aps r8 resp r9 (after next sale) but get better refines and base stats due to grade 15 of boots and chest as well as the 900 (1k?) hp set bonus. The tiny option to become 5aps r8/9 (2x -.05 int on boots or chest) I would consider as too unrealistic.

The boots with 1x -.05 int i got right away, now i just need to hope to get same on chest asap. In the meantime i still wear the vana pants and the r8 chest.

In that respect i would have the option to upgrade the tt99 wrists into vana to get the +5 atk set lvl together with vana helmet, which i would loose when changing vana pants to r8 recast pants to get the -.1 int set bonus for three r8 recasted pieces.

Besides the base stats and better refines i also see the advantage of getting always 4 socks with r8 recast compared to vana where u usuall end up with 3 socks. Being able to imbue JoSD might be also an advantage, especially for pk.

If its worth the money and the hassle might be another point...

    It's definitely possible, if you put enough money into it. I'd definitely do it if I had the spare money, but I've invested well over 4 bil or so into my sin already.

    yeah, the existing well geared sins won't be interested in recast, but to new players, recast should be what they shoot for now days, only many still are playing with 'old' mentality.

    If you take out the idea of spending real money beyond buying inventory space, skills, charms, and rank 8-> then recast rank 8 looks very apealing on everyclass, more so than anything currently existing. Sure rank 9 can be farmed/merch, but someone has to spend money for it and honestly rank 9 is not for everyone.

    http://pwcalc.com/5f20bec58efc0210 set it up a month ago still building on it.

    1000 HP on ring is for 2 piece set bonus and .1 of the .2 on plate is for 3 piece set bonus (r8 set bonus). That will not be the end build, but even at 4.0 / regular r9 / 40 atk on each lunar ring that's a monster.

    Wait, one thing I would like to double-check: r8 recast always comes out 4 sockets, independent of the used r8 gear?

    Traz, are u going for that set up? If so it would really be interesting to see how it progresses, with reforges and so on :)

    Not doing r8 recast on my demon sin working on g15' for purely pve farming for my other chars, farming for lunar on my barb, upgrade to niv later, same as warest. Next char will be a sage sin which will be r8 and recast on that. I agree r8 recast will mostly be for new char's or players. I did see a recast wiz or cleric (cant remember) in RT other day after doing a few niv runs with red. She is in QQme not sure who it was, but the stats looked nice.

    There's more than just an 'old' mentality though. I am still skipping rank recast...simply because its far too inconvenient, regardless of how nice it can be.
    I have an Archer and an Assassin. I do not want to farm/buy 2 sets of rank8 recasts. I have no desire to and frankly its a waste of coin when I can farm g15 Nirvana and equip both characters with the same set of pretty nice gear.
    Considering how many alts there are running around, I think this may be something common.

    Havent reshaped any of them yet, got those stats right after recast.
