About the Jones Blessing spam (on FB)

Hey all,
About the Facebook Connect / Jones Bless / etc... has anyone figured out a way around this "cell phone" business? By that I mean, they lock down any "dummy" accounts that you create for the purposes of not spamming your friends' walls, after awhile. I have had two accounts suffer this fate already, but I will be damned if I let those people have my cell number to reactivate one of them.
Of course, if I used my actual FB account, it would spam my friends' walls (which, of course, was PWE's intention, despite FB having a "no spam" policy quite clearly stated in their TOS). So has anyone figured out a way around this?
Some people have told me that you can delete the spam post from your own wall immediately after it's posted, but that it will still linger in others' news feeds for a while. This would not acceptable - priority one to me is that my actual friends are not bothered by PWE's spam. But can anyone confirm or deny it?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

My dummy account never got into any trouble (despite it having a rather suggestive name). I did add a friend with it once so I could view his profile and used the chat for a short while, so maybe that's why I can still use it.
You could add your main account as a friend I suppose, but then you'd be bothered by your own spam b:chuckle[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I created a FB account for the blessing alone. I don't utilize those types of site's, don't really understand the point of it. I don't care what someone I rarely talk to is doing. And if it's someone I do talk to often, i hardly need a website to tell me what they are doing, lol.0

Yeah, I've had a fake facebook for blessings since blessings came out. It's still an active account.
I would never give facebook my phone number. Their privacy policies are horrible.I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.0 -
If all else fails and you have to use your main acc just tell your friends to click on that nifty drop down list in the top corner of your post and unsubscribe to your game news or whatever it's called.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

thats one reason i closed my FB account. i wish i hadent now, in some ways, but people i know were sick of the PWE ads every time i tried for a Blessing (which i didnt get, most of the time, btw. the ad would go on my VFB page, but no Blessing in my mailbox.) not everyone wants to have someone elses game shoved up their nose , and i dont really like to to have the whole world know what i do in my spare time. so the whole Blessing scam is just a freebee advertising for PWE, at the cost of annoying our friends, etc.Miugre - Heavens Tear wrote: »Hey all,

add the fake accounts of the people you play with as friends, maybe make a screenshot your pic

This. I ended up giving them a business number the 1st time they blocked my account and had the person anwsering the phone, call and give me the code. (theres no cell phone sevice within 25 miles of where i live, so why would i have one?) After getting my blessing that day, they shut it down again demanding a drivers license with my name, birth date, picture, social security number and address on it.. wtf? Yea FB i'm sure im going to send you all that personal info..b:scorn
I created a new fb account to get around it, it was promptly blocked before i could even log in. My daughter used my pc to acess her fb account while she was visiting.. and hers was also auto blocked as soon as she tried to log in. Yea, FB is a real peice of work.0 -

Why am I not surprised that you are one of those that used their real FB for blessing.0 -
I don't know of this will help, but this is how I did mine and its been working well without any issues so far.
I don't actually use FB, and I was tired of people always asking "Why don't you reply to me on FB". So I deactivated the account. This was about 2 years ago.
I have never logged back in on their site. However, i logged in the one time through FB connect on the PW site to get my blessing. It worked no problems. Now when I go to the FB connect link on PW I don't even have to log in, I just pick my blessing and am on my merry way.
Checking off my relatives FB accounts who I had "friended" before deactivating, my account is still considered deactivated and doesn't spam a thing.
Maybe this will help some people? Anyway it works for me so I thought I'd share.0 -

I have my FB set so that I am the only person who can see PWI's posts on my wall. After I get my blessing, I delete the post.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

You can delete the post off your facebook account seconds after its created, thus saving your friends from having to be bothered with PWI spam.What kind of fool pays for a free game.0
