Today I saw a flyer on my high school's announcement board...It seems there will be martial arts classes after our regular classes...
I wonder...should i go? It seems an interesting experience, but I'm the opposite of an athletic person! b:sad I'm afraid everyone will laugh at me for being so unsuited! T-T
I don't want to be seen as the clumsy idiot that has no chance...! b:shedtear I'm very shy and its very hard for me to be so far from my comfort zone...And i can't shove away the CERTAINTY that someone will find me ridiculous...you see, I am by far the slowest (in reflexes), the weakest and the less agile person in the entire school! (err...maybe not weaker than the 12-year-olds that also have classes there)
Please tell me your honest opinion!
Should I go for it or should i stay on familiar territory?

    There will always be people who make fun of/hate ya for somethin'...it's in the nature of humans...everyone is hated for somethin' by someone...

    So...if ya have the chance to try out those MA-classes for a while...(and be able to quit if ya don't like it for whatever reason)...ya should go for it...
    Ya're only young once in a life...

    Sure some might find it ridiculous...on the other hand some might find it "cool" or whatever ya say nowadays...no risk no fun...plus...most people ('specially the ones ya meet in school) will forget ya/be forgotten by ya someday...and ya'll meet new ones...

    'Bout yourself...if ya really want it...ya can change yourself...

    :D thank you! you're so right! if i don't fit, i can quit! :D that would make an akward mood, but i think it is worth the try...
    Now...its time to start harassing my peers to the point they'll go with me! ^_^

    PS: I didn't see any age limit on the flyer...do you think my mother can come with me? it would be so cool if we could partner up...I love doing things with my mother! it just doubles the fun when she's around :3

    Although it's fine that you like your mother and all, but if it's a high school class, I doubt they'd let an adult in. You can ask the instructor though. But even so, I'd say it may not be the best idea in this case. If your worried about people making fun of you, then be aware that some people may see taking a class with her to be prime insult material. Others might find it sweet, or something similar, but since this is high school we're talking about, it may not be the best idea.

    ****! you're right... :( I must have breathed some poisonous gases to have even considered something like that... T-T that would be 1rst class finger-pointing material! ;_;

    PS: I don't think "adulthood" would be an issue...most of the students there are 15-19 so the students themselves aren't "kids" either) the main issue would be not being a student of my school...since classes are for students...And, of course, the biggest issue of all: its not considered "cool" to do stuff with your mother...especially uncool in public...double "uncoolness" if it is right inside high school o.o

    PPS:Not everything is lost, though...we might still practice at home? ^_^
