Is this game worth playing anymore?.. im really starting to miss it despite sucking and taking for ages for me to level but im just wondering is it worth playing anymore?... is has it become to cash shop dependent?

I also left because no one wanted to level with me and i ended up getting kicked out of my last guild for nothing b:sad

    I can't speak on behalf of your last guild, but at the current time there are a large surplus of fairly good guilds on the Heaven's Tear server (if you ignore enrage who despite being efficient, is not in my opinion strictly "good" as defined from the moral sense of the word). That said I think there are plenty of reasons to continue playing the game despite the various flaws in the game structure and administration themselves. But in my opinion those flaws make the game all the more attractive.

    As far as the dependance on cash shopping goes, if you are smart about it you really don't have to cash shop at all. I personally only cash shop to supplement my pre-existing income levels.

    The only time you really have to consider cash shopping is if you want to be competitive in PvP, for PvE you don't need to do any cash shopping to perform decently.

    technically speaking you don't even have to cash shop in the sense of you personally putting real life money into the game even in order to go PvP competitive. Simply merchanting the right items for a long enough period of time can ultimately have the same effect as cash shopping, so long as you do it right.

    Define "worth to play". I spoke once with some1 who stopped playing and his argument was "i cant c any sense in playing this game, there is no aim."

    I told him that this is a game. Its entertainment. I'm doing it instead of watching TV or surfing the web. There is no sense, beeing entertained is the aim. Play the game and if u dont feel entertained well just look for another one.

    And about the costs: its like TV too. Some parts r for paying ppl only (or ppl who pay with their lifes and play 16/24h, 365 days/year for years), and some parts u can enjoy for free. U wont be able to solo harpy wraith and put a vid on youtube if u r a f2p gamer (to show every1 that u r the best gangsta gama eva). And u wont be able to join the PWIC tournament (even if some liar tell something different). But u can join all BH runs and do all quests and join many factions if u just play for free. If u like to spent time on working on ur characters its a very good f2p mmorpg.

    well i really stopped playing because leveling was taking ages by myself and no one seemed to want to level up with me, and now i have no guild im afraid it will be the same as last time if i start again... but i've started to download the client just now so ill see how it goes over the next couple of weeks hopefully ( I won't be playing all the time like 12 hours at once tho lol )



    and thanks to everyone for posting :D it really helped make my decision up since i havn't played in a while.. hopefully perfect world starts caring about the game rather then money ( judging from the updates )

    I am now lvl 85 and I never used hypers. Yes, I level slow. My husband paied already EUR 45 to the game publisher. The reason is that good games should get paied too. Good work should get paied. But my husband never used hypers too. We bought only some things as inventory storage or some Charms for Gamma GV as we have much fun at Gamma.

    For PVE you do not need any money. My Husband plaied on an other server an Cleric till level 97 without paing any cent to the game.

    If you want to be good at PvP then you need to pay money into the game.

    If you think this game is still fun and have friends to play with (or are at least willing to make them) then yes, it's definitely worth playing.

    Well you're going to have that issue at 5x since it's short a short time period in terms of leveling. Around 8x+ is where the bulk of the players are and you'll find it easier to group with people.

    Don't blame me if you get to 8x and still want to quit though.

    Game is worth it. Still a very large playerbase, still a lot going on espeically on our server =) all it takes is like with anyhting that is 'worth it' ou gotta push through the crappy lower levels with a smile on your face to get to the fun parts, whihc in my opinion are around the 80s and 90s. ^^;

    100+ can be fun too, but you really gotta watch what you get into at that level so you don't burn out and suddenly have nothing to do so you complain that there is nothing to do.. lol.
