When can I solo FC

Sorry if this was already asked here but I couldn't find, could any1 tell me/show calc of which would be the gear needed to solo FC please... I wanna show sins and bms that I can solo frost aswell on my fav class, someday...

    you do not provide enough information....
    What level are you? which class you play?
    what type of gear you have, which build you have, which kind of refinement on gear you have, which shardings you have, which kind of weapon you have.....

    Simple solution to check whether you can or cannot solo...
    Try to duo it with a cleric , let the cleric be on reserve. The cleric won't heal u, he is just there in case u need a rez, so you can test your limits.

    Alternatively ask someone of the same class who CAN solo fc, to tag along and teach you how, and what to do.
    There is more than gear alone, your skills are equal important, unless you are a cashcow and dont mind charmrape and crabmeatfeast and repairbills.

    Charms r free if u farm some dqs... can get 50 eventgold in ~ 3 hours ? that is no biggie.

    What shall i tell u, i cannot solo FF yet, 2nd boss just **** me too much with his bubble. then again i do not have much hp and defenses either. only 5.7 k unbuffed b:surrender i might try again tho when i got some more money together for more refines. next time i will prolly try when i am at ~ 6.5 k ish

    I've never heard of an archer soloing FC. I'd like to know the build of the ones than can out of curiousity.

    And how many classes can solo FC without bloodpaint? Would anyone even try without that.

    Well i guess any class with R9 +12 can solo FF. Some can do it faster some take more time.

    I know of multiple archers on HT and LC who can solo it....usually the minimum gear (since you can't get bp) is like:

    W/o the NV pants you would be 4.0 base with 5.0 spark. You could probably also get away with taking out the neck and belt and be at 3.33 (still 5.0 sparked), but as an archer you want to kill the bosses as fast as possible so the higher aps and refinement on claws you have the better.

    As for gemming on that gear...aim for immac's or better based on your own budget. Then also make sure that the majority of refiens are +5 (damn cheap right now with d.orb sale), and weapon should be at least +8 (+10 would be even better).



    with it like that you would be able to solo frost w/o issue. (You could probably also do it at 99 but you would have to be more careful, which is why i put 100 since that is when you can get all the interval gear for your class)

    Yep, I also recommend bringing vacuity pots (immune to movement debuff for 12(?) seconds), and other anti-movement buffs or something for second boss. He's a pain in the *** w/o them.

    I solo FC on occasion though it isn't very practical. An Archer can clear mobs alot faster than a BM or sin can, but bosses will give a little more trouble since we don't get BP.

    My current build (I first solo'd when I was +4 and didn't have my current cape or ring or engravement at the time). Yes I am sage, Sage BoA definitely helps with pulls alot.

    Also no, I do not use fists. I just bow tank the bosses. It takes a while and uses alot of crabs, but its doable. I still prefer duo/trio runs with a sin friend for bosses or another aoe to speed up pulls/reduce damage I take. For the physical mob pulls I recommend getting 3 sparks, using Alacrity to pull all of the mobs, and then using crabs+BoA and expel. This will net you 9 seconds of invulnerability. You could always do a high vit/mag genie so that you could possibly Abso Domain afterwards if that would help. Full buffed helps, but I normally go cleric buffed only if I have to.

    Any class can solo FC. I have seen my brother's wizard solo it and tbh, he can probably solo it easier than me because he has higher defenses and Sage DB also stuns.

    ;O I see... Well im rlly far from it but all those tips help a lot, dunno why but soloing frost is one of my goals, probably my obsession to show sins how the true LA class rol ;)

    i think i can help a lil hear, been soloing FF since level 101 in TT99's +5 and FF gold Fists +5, flawless gems and of course, 5aps

    my first few runs was painful. 3hrs +, doing small group after group, learning what i can and couldnt do. i did end up saying that at that rate its impossible to be worthwhile.

    so i had to look for more info, i came up with with a new way to pull(new to me). have full sparks, lure mobs on meats. hit spark > AD >Irongaurd >Blast span blast, for magic mobs i used STA, this saved ALOT of time meats and charm ****

    the hardest of all bosses is by far the 2nd boss, have Vac pots AD WoG, Elvin at the ready, 2nd wind can be a life saver. your gone need a nice amount of HP, if you cant kill it fast enuff(+10>+12 TT100s or better) youll end up charm tanking this.


    however im now +10R9 ad have no need to use AD on pulls(saving time from CD) i can solo FF in around an hr, under 100k charm and not much meats, 80k repairs and some apoth i make myself, my new combo is now

    Dew of star protection >blast> span > blast >5aps the boss, i need very lil chi for pulls

    i can even do big room in 1 pull of dew of star protection


    otherskills ive found useful in FF is Expel, works wonders after casting BoA and lets not forget Mire




    If your doing FF in TT99s +5, magic mobs with slow can be annoying, do expect them, be ready for painful 2nd boss. your really gona have to try. start off pulling only some groups, e.g hallway to slash boss if you pull everything you CANT get Spark off before death (or atlest i cant with my higher ping im from Aus, US could be better)


    BTW i never explored using BoA on pulls much, their HP wanst ever high enuff for me, you could try this if you feel the need, and the Expel, as oppsoed to my triple spark combo

    I would definately drop the belt and neck, go OHT belt if your broke if you have coin warsong, ect works great, for neck go any +5% hp neck. You technicly dont even need the pants but they help alot.

    On your genie i would recomend anything like domain, cloud erupt, EP, HoldyPath <- defintely if your doing solo saves a lot of time, windsheild, and expel. Stay far away from Frenzy youll probly end up dead.

    If you have the nirvy legs (2nd cast) FC gold fist is a great fist to use because of the regeneration. Also ive done it with +4 deicides the higer refines just make it end quicker which is nice.

    LOL... 6k hp talking about soloing debuff boss.

    Get a cleric alt for buffs and for rebuff after the purge boss. Being able to get full buffs will make things a lot easier.

    If you can't beat the second boss you can try kiting it to a corner and attacking it with a bow from the next room. It won't be able to use normal attack but can still attack you with the bubble dot. Actually a lot of the bosses can be kited to the edge of a room and attacked safely at max range but it's not really necessary and takes too long.

    For the PDef break boss you can use dew of star or the uneven training base pot.

    For pulls you do triple spark -> span -> tooth -> blast -> span for melee mobs and barrage for ranged. If you are struggling with a big pull combo the triple spark with AD and IG for 16s of immunity.

    My first solo attempt at frost (which was also my first time in frost since they removed the mats) I used like 300k charm. By my third time it was down to 100k charm and I leveled off at like 50k. I can do it charmless now though

    That's nice and all. Except there is a huge difference between 6k and 7k hp. Also between his +4 bow and your +10 5aps claws. Maybe I'll put it into perspective for you... your 5aps claw would roughly have 4-5 times the damage compared to a +4 bow.

    I personally don't consider something to be soloed with it'll take hours of effort and numerous buff breaks.

    Well I was assuming he was going to have a decent set of claws to attack the boss with and as long as he knows how to anti-stun (For the sleep, and the bubble is like occult so it works on it also) he'll be fine.

    I am level 103 archer. With R8+10 and decides+10 I was able to solo FC several times.My gear is R8 chest with balance being nirvy gear ranging from +8-+10. Bubble boss was the most difficult one to accomplish how-ever apoth helps there and genie.Took me an hour to complete approx.
