It's crazy to build or is this interesting?

    I don't see the point of going 5aps on a barb but go with it if you like. Also, If you go with fists/claws then get 2nd stage Nirvana and aim for -0.10 interval bonus (Yes it's possible). That will give you better damage.

    Won't be able to get the double -0.05 interval bonus easily but I've seen people get that on their Nirvana weapon. An example is:

    Strength +18
    -0.05 interval
    -0.05 interval

    If i got full r9 on my barb i wouldnt waist it on a claw build. Id go for max hp build.
    Something like this basically http://pwcalc.com/952f965b59a06e80 but heck i guess the ultimate choice is yours so pick either high damage moderate hp/def or high hp/def and moderate damage.

    Now the Striking Dragon has an APS of 1.67... how the heck did he get the 5APS?
    And on the subject of r9, wish they had dual axes available r9 lol (not that it matters at the moment... still got 20 levels to climb to get there)

    Because of all the -interval gear he has.

    Check this table to see the -interval you need with different base speeds to reach a certain APS sparked / unsparked.

    That's 3 regular add-ons with no unique add on. btw, chance of getting 1 -int stat is 1/8, chance of getting 2 is 1/164.


    http://pwcalc.com/acabbfe83e247fa6 would be my dream build (self buffed). Insane pdef, but also defense levels to cover for the low magic defense. I think the r9 belt is also important for covering magic defenses. So the 2 x 99 piece I would pick are the necklace and the boots. If you want to switch to axes you'd only need to swap boots and axes. Also, Lunar Radiance cape instead of pack cape for better refines and can use JoSDs in it.

    If you read my post I said it's difficult but possible. However, If someone can get the -INT bonus like I said it would be a great weapon choice.

    Great for PvE. And depending on whether you TW or not, and what you are tasked to do in TW...I'd say it's passable. However you don't have enough HP or Mdef to be the greatest cata puller (although that depends a great deal upon your skill level and squad mechanics.)


    I wouldn't waste my coin on that build though.

    This build I like. Good HP and good mdef. The barb won't be 5.0 by any means, but he doesn't have to be. He can pull a cata, and drop one heck of an Arma, not to mention tank anything in game.

    He was commenting that the particular combination you gave:

    Strength +18
    -0.05 interval
    -0.05 interval

    is impossible. One of the stats must be crit +3~4, attack lev +20, or a weapon proc. The chance of getting double -int on g15 nirv is 1 in 400. I wouldn't waste 5B coin on a weapon that's inferior to a cheap g13 dagger.
