Book drops in Abaddon/SoT

Hi guys,

I have some questions related to books drop in Abaddon/SoT.
It's been a while since I've seen a book drop in these two instances. I think I've done about 30 runs in the past week or so, and beside 1 ring and 1 hammer mold I got nothing. Not one single book drop. Add on top the BH's that I do on 5 100+ chars and it kinda' adds up.

When was the last time you've seen a book drop in Abaddon/SoT and what was it?

LE: and while we're at it, anyone felt a drop in coin rewards (excitement/extasy cards ) from BH1 ? Cause I sure did, and like I've said, I do 5 of them /day.

    I seem to get the same amount of coin cards from BH rewards.

    Last book I saw... hmm mystics absorb soul skill two days ago. Funnily was a split fee bh and book still went to the wine bringer. *pw trolls* b:angry

    still got x2 sage wizard skill in two days bh from abaddon...

    I got sage Beast King's Inspiration from SoT a couple weeks ago. And a few days ago demon Shapeshifting Intensity dropped on a run.

    Drop rate seems the same as ever to me.

    As far as the BH coin rewards, all I ever seem to get on my 3 chars are chips and socket stones. b:cry However, people in my faction report ecstacy cards regularly and sometimes excitement (which I have yet to even see, myself).

    i have gotten good books like sage bell,demon res,demon shapeshift mainly on normal drops in abaddon.One time it was hard to get a squad so i made a squad for sot and all drops random even book..normally dont see anything good in sot accept stone barrier...but that day a sage storm mistress for mystic dropped..i was like mannnnnn..i didnt get the book some one else didb:cry. would have been a good present for wifey
    This game is like washing hair with shampoo... Rinse and repeat if desired.

    Its like a 1% chance for a book to drop. o.o;

    But like over 40 books can drop.

    My guess is just all your runs were bad luck. :P

    day before x2 started i got sage knockback arrow....during x2 i did maybe 10 runs total and didnt get any books....

    No, its a 10% chance the secondary drop table with the books will be accessed (in the event that the second table is accessed, only 1 book will drop from it afaik) And the number is much higher than that for books. There's 96 books for just the original 6 classes that can drop from Hellfire or Peaches. I am not sure how many were added for the TB and EG.
    So in the event that only 1 book drops from what is sure to be a number of over 100 now, with only a 10% chance of that even happening, the chances of one you actually want are actually pretty slim.

    Hellfire shares the same secondary drop table for skill books.

    But yeah, OP you're just having bad luck. Even as far as the bh rewards go. I too am running multiple 100's a day (4 100+ chars).
    I get a friggin lot of chips, but I've noticed no sharp decline of ex/excite cards.

    But is there still a decent chance that a book drops that you can sell or trade for the one you need?

    any idea what the chance on demon bell dropping?thinking of farming it, any1 got ideas on chance for it to drop or something of equal value?

    going buy the tables on PWdatabase the odds are 1 in 1000 that you will get the book you want from a run.

    I've done about 50 runs this 2x and I've seen 1 book. Might as well be 1 in 1000 for just A book >_>

    The only reason people used to farm FB99s was for apoc pages, cape, neck and arcane top and to get to card bosses. That was like in '09. After packs came out cape was the only thing really worth trying to farm. Farming FB99's for books is pointless. The drop rate is way too low and chances of getting a **** book was pretty high.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

    I have never seen an apoc page in 99. b:surrender
    I guess it's still somewhat profitable. If you're a sin who can stealth through and solo the bosses. lol

    I used to farm SoT for books with a sin friend for a short time and we got like 3 books in a row, including sage res b:chuckle

    One of the bosses in Brim dropped two books for me (shocking, I know). Irony is that both books were Demon Plume Shot... Still can't quite figure out how it dropped the same exact book twice. :P

    I farm brim a lot and 2 books is pretty common, have had even 3 dropped and 2x sky demon pearl molds when there wasn`t 2x drops, that instance is pretty profitable if you are sick of nirvanas or TT whatever, some books actually sell pretty nicely, as well as molds, not to mention money you get npcing drops. b:victory

    Only ever seen one book dropped in Abaddon, during September's 2x. Haven't seen one since. Also, the only rewards I've had for my last 3-4 BHs were socket stones b:sad

    Had sage purge drop within the last week and another run we did in the last couple of weeks I believe a demon storm mistress ... which I think they're still trying to swap for sage. I'm use to none dropping though XD Just the luck of the draw either way. b:chuckle
