I'd be more inclined to think it was clever if it wasn't so predictable.

Week after week it's either some random pack sale (along with another sale so they don't come off as absolutely desperate) or a General Summer's sale (with the same feature as the aforementioned.)

Interchange or even mix the two together when needed. Sprinkle some new packs here and there, throw in a fashion set and voila! Instant "clever" marketing.

Clever profitting move... is that like when they put +11/+12 orbs in boutique and then removed them before people could buy lots of them and so all those people charged gold but then couldn't spend it on what they wanted b:chuckle

It's funny how people complain about pack sales, because when they aren't on sale, we get threads like these. b:chuckle

I dont say we need to play this game for free. They need us to donate and it is fun to buy a mount, fashion, wings and more but this game has becomes i cant even find the word...greedy. There is no no no way to make money on the game. Farm what?? Anyone can farm mats, 90% have mounts. Is not so hard, farm mats that drop from mobs? easy....make a small character and farm with it. TT? Well u need to have good items to farm there and I farm yesterday TT and have no drop what is X2 drop? OMG i did not get anything. I make with my sister BH and I made with her friend to so I made about 10 Bh's and i get coins only. Not 3 stars, not 1 star, no pots, nothing just coins like in TT who you need to make 10 runs to get something witch u pay repairs and pots who are very expensive. Go to nirvana??? All ask for R8 or R9 to take you and 4-5 aps. Where can I get that if no one take me to Nirvy? We dont have an instance to farm coins. Not even 1. They calculated this game very smart way, the way u cant make coins in game and the way u need to donate much money to continue playing. Some catshop's stay for months and not sell 1 damn thing. No one buy small lvl items that we can farm without rank or aps. I will never go to nirvana or delta because no one take's me. I am a tanker not an aps. I am lvl 100 and i dont even know how Nirvana looks. I am not rich, i cant afford to spend millions on this game because I live in a country that we have 200 euros salary not 2000 like other's.. This game is a pure buisness and made for super rich people who spend like crazy and they think if they have, we all have and start to ask for aps and expensive items to take you in squad's.

So you're not even willing to have a computer on (for a catshop) and still expect to make money?
Naturally how much you make scales with the amount of hours you have to put into the game, as it should, I'm just showing that it's still possible to make money, without relying on parties 'allowing' you to join them when you don't have uber gear or the appropriate class. So it takes you like 2 months to get R8 if you don't spend that much time grinding / farming, how's that a bad thing? It's all you'll ever need for anything PvE wise, it should take some effort. It used to be practically impossible to get and people still did fine without having it.

If nobody in your faction is willing to go anywhere with you, and you don't want to do any farming / grinding, then perhaps it's time to switch factions and see where they will want to party with you. Otherwise perhaps you set your goals to high with the available time and means.

I've never been in delta or nirvana myself, but I'm just waiting for the rest of the faction to get high enough level so we can go as a faction. In the meantime I spend my time making alts and helping faction members, which is much more rewarding than grinding away at some dungeon a few hundred times to get the next piece of gear you don't really need.

If you're aiming at being competitive at PvP, and you don't have money or time, then you really shouldn't be playing MMORPGS; prolly better to play games where only skills are a factor such as FPS or RTS games.

PWI may be greedy, but at the same time they are also feeding the greed of players who still desire to get better in a dying game.

ppl are greedy with there farm do not take old school players why should i a old school barb be just as greedy with gold. its just in my book i cant join them **** them then.

ppl greedy farming wont change so neither will i and i will exploit it as much as possibleb:laugh.

the only way to make money for me it seem why should i lower my gold when ppl do not wish to do the same with there greedy farming toons.

it's a shame that you simply can not answer a question with a logical answer. The forums have no baring on the success or failure of a game, Sorry they just don't.

God forbid you might consider that no one post in the forums because it's swarming with people who can only have a conversation by insulting someone or belittling them.. but no I guess that logic is too much... :sigh:
