Which class can DPS?

Here's an interesting question. What class can make a great DPS? We have heard of tanks, DD's, APS DD's, AoE DD's, ranged DD's and healers. Barbs are true tanks, they can also DD. Seekers are AoE DD's, they are excellent tanks. Assassins are APS DD's. Blademasters are great APS DD's, but they are also AoE DD's. Clerics are true healers, but they're also ranged DD's. Archers are great ranged DD's. Mystics are great healers, and they're also great DD's. Venos are great DD's and magic DD's. Psys are ranged DD's because of their great damage from afar. I've been wondering, which of these classes make a great DPS?

    Every class has Damage Per Second. Maybe you should clarify what you mean.

    yes, that's what i mean. If a sin, blademaster, and archer can do 5 APS which stand for attacks per second. They can do at least 5000 to 10000 DPS

    If a sin can do 5000-10000 DPS, they can do 600000 DPM (Damage Per Minute) Sins, barbs, blademasters and archers can all do 5 APS. They can do 60 APM (Attacks Per Minute)

    APS = Attacks per second, 60 APM as u call it is therefore 1 APS, even my cata barb has a higher attack rate than that. A 5 APS toon will have in theory 300 APM but in actual fact will be less due to time spent sparking etc.

    A sin with base damage 5000-10000 will have much higher DPS because you would have to factor in added spark damage, crit strike dmg, dagger devotion, buff increases (strength of titans) and any wep add-on dmg the list goes on.......

    Each class using the best weapon available to it.... the DPS food chain goes like this:

    Sin>BM>Barb>Archer

    It's true, assassins, barbs, blademasters and archers can each do 5 aps or 300 apm. If they can do 300 apm, how much damage can they do per second? That i'm not sure.

    So, if a assassin, barb, bm and archer can do 300 apm, they can do 18000 aph. APH=Attacks Per Hour.
