Decomposing help

So I've read alot of the guides online about decomposing anything, Mostly weapons and armor. Some ornaments. I don't get it...I've read and read and tried so many times, And I still get the same error message. What am I missing here?

    Decomposing items, requires you to have varying levels of skills, like a smithing at level 5 if you want to decomp a 5th level weapon and so on...

    its probably just that going on against ya, and nothing thats really major....b:thanks


    Why they made decomping require the same smithing skills and etc. is beyond me though, Making an item requires a goodly amount of skill~but breaking them is so easy, that pretty much anyone can do that...... LoLOLoLOLoLb:chuckle

    Also make sure you decompose weapons at the blacksmith, armor at the tailor and ornaments at the craftman.
