Is it possible to put reflect skill on a nix like the herc? If so would it be good for pvp?

It is possible, but you need a book to learn it. However, it is not really necessary on nix, but sure, it is good in pvp and tw, although I'd rather go with Strong (150% pdef add) since nix won't be able to survive that long against melee targets to reflect much damage.

The nix is too squishy and gets stuck too much to make it worth a skill slot.

Do you think these skills on the nix would be the best for pve/pvp?

    1. Strong
    2. Claw
    3. Blessing of the pack
    4. Flesh ream

I was thinking of removing pounce and getting the one you suggested and do you think it would be good for pve/pvp? I do not see much use for pounce since it only last for 3 seconds but I am not an expert. Any information anyone can give on this would be great and thank you.

Also how much do you think strong skill will cost on the raging tide server?

I, personally, would keep Pounce since we don't have many stun skills and the increased attack speed is nice. It is true that nix dies easily nowadays and Strong will be a good addition to nix's skill list. Think carefully if you prefer a p.def skill over stun and about the costs as well. Since Strong is a rare skill it often costs a lot and is sometimes overpriced but simply adding Flesh Ream and keeping Pounce will save you time and money.
I say for now stick to those skills and look out for a cheap Strong Scroll and meanwhile decide if you really want to replace Pounce.

Save your coin. There are better rare skills from Faction Base, and the Nix at least in PvE is almost useless end game. For PvP; the default skills + Flesh Ream should be fine. I'd prefer Bash for PvE though.

Useless in PVE? Really? I wish I'd discovered that sooner, as I use my Nix exclusively for routine quests, Divine quests, grinding, and for killing most bosses for my faction mates. Nix is quick, economical, and keeps me out of harm's way.

As for the Nix getting stuck -- true enough, but this can be readily overcome by putting Nix in auto mode and shooting at the intended target. Where this does not work, put Nix in manual mode, fire on the target, then launch the Nix. A third option is sending the Nix in normal attack mode, if the Nix stalls out, shoot and the target will move. The minute it moves the Nix will attack. Granted, I'm only level-97 (not quite end-game), but the Nix is largely what got me to this level and I'm quite certain he'll continue to earn his keep in PVE.

As for not putting Reflect on the Nix: my next goal is to do precisely that.

    No specifics -wonder why?

    "Only 97" -lol

I really can't complain. Every time I see **** like this; it makes me feel like I pwn.

Even an Eldergoth Marksman (free non rare pet) is going to tank more than a Baby Phoenix can. Phoenix does **** for dmg compared to a proper end game veno even on [?] mobs. On top of the Phoenix being inferior to other pets in multiple ways (though does hold some edge in it's own); it can't be used in instances. Mystic's Storm Mistress can range tank, can out dd a nix, can be used in instances, can aoe, and costs so much less.

Go ahead and give your nix reflect: I'll laugh cause I don't need or want the skill for anything other than my Herc which already has it.
