So..

As the titel said, lets talk about Duke.

Whats the deal with him? i mean, is it really necessary that Duke have to shour everytime someone gets a best luck or wing trophy or whatnot?

Is there even one single argument, why he has to shout that?
its annoying and sometimes, it keep blocking the normal chat or every other chat, especially the World Chat, where you have to pay to write in.

Its no compare to the auction hause, when they start, damn its such a spam.. well but thats not the point.

How is that: Invert a "Duke Chat" where everythink is listed, that he has to say.

    We've given up asking for his spam to be reverted. He shuts up for a little while, the next patch brings him back.
    He shouts because his shouts convince people to buy packs.

    Last time I checked, you could've turned off the system messages in any of your chat bars.

    However, I agree that it is annoying when he shouts about everything, but PWI probably won't do anything about it.

    System chat =/= red font used for announcements

    And meh, yes it is annoying, it's spamming. But everytime they fixed it, it came back next patch. Why bother complaining =_=

    yea, once they released a patch, where duke shouted EVERY single item a person got except the Tokens.

    When packs first came out, he announced practically everything and they silenced most of it.

    Honestly, I'd pay $20-$50 to get rid of his spam. Like not even merch stuff to buy gold, flat out, plunk down $20-$50.

    They annouce as a means of advertising "hey look what this person got!".

    I bet they won't add: "Hey look what this person got > 455 tries/1000 packs".

    Meaning he bought 1000 packs and got this item after trying 455 times.

    thats a good idea! all chat is clogged with his babbling about who just got what- like anyone cares- and makes it very difficult to keep track of what squadmates are saying.

    Its actually pretty sad, because when some "newbs" join the game or even in the mid lvls (speaking of Lv 40~70) and they read that over and over and over again, they maybe think:" Oh, this Person got this item worth 5mil now 4 times in a row in a pretty short time, this must be easy to make money with it", then they charge 10$ or even 20$, buy packs from it and what did they got? a slap in the face with maybe a MP charm.

    I just would guess, its a trick from Perfect World to say "Oh look what the rich dudes got, you can get it too, when you charge alot.. maybe"

    Hm, anyway... its annoying. Kill Duke or just make him shut up

    The pack spam makes me less likely to spend money on the game. Its always the same people winning and that tells me you have to buy a ton of packs to get anything good.

    Hello.... Squad Chat. Just use !! (as opposed to !@ for WC) Even if you do get the duke's messages, they WONT be as bad as all the WC messages.

    Personally, I dont mind one way or another about the Duke's messages. What I find annoying is the frackin horn!

    Stupid people complain about everything...

    This is one of the things that should have always been in the catshop. Instead they decide to put gear in the cash shop.
    I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.
