To be fair, your skills aren't changed. It's simply a kind of balance. If you want to put out that kind of damage, you have to sacrifice those heals. I see it like fox form for venos, can't do some stuff but got other big powers.
A cleric is a healer first of all for me. We got enough heals, really, what kind of skills should we get? I like the idea of having more DD skills, even if it means there are downsides too. That's what clerics need imo: More dmg output. We got the heals.
Imo leaving the heals like they are when you hit metal mage mode would only make clerics OP. Imagine a hard as hell hitting cleric that can spam heal themselves. Yea, now imagine that in good gears. Fun fun.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

My new skills are a no XP passive skill...which I like.

My hp is naturally low. As a mage player, you should know this as well. It's not like I'll be gamebreakingly powerful if my hp does not suffer a reduction. Instead, its more like I'll catch up to the power of other classes some.
What I suggested in regards to the metal mage form causing an decrease in healing power was to make it comparable to a psychics black/white voodoo forms.
Psychics get increased overall damage, but decreased physical defense.
My suggestion was going into MM form would cause that same increase in metal damage, while causing a reduction of healing power as a pose to the COMPLETE REMOVAL of it. Remember that although clerics can DD, we are STILL a support class. Our heals are what have gotten us this far. Not our high damage output, not our high hp, not our high pdef...because we don't have that. Clerics do not have the damage as a wizard, psychic, or mystic. What I suggested would help with that without essentially removing a cleric from their role TOTALLY.
That said, enjoy your new powerful skills. I bet that you'd be a little upset too if you got a form for your control skills...with the downside being that you couldn't use BIDS, BT, sandstorm, or your mountain skill. Why? Because that stops you from being an effective DD'er. Even with that you could still DD some. I can't even heal. See my point?

You have plume shell and the other 79 damage absorb skill, You can actually buff yourself for faster channel and a pdef spike I'm not really able to match. You will be able to go in to a "frenzy" mode to do more damage in certain sittuation,and as any frenzy mode implemented, it has downsides. This is NOT intended as a PERMANENT mode, is that a too overwhelming concept for you?
But really do I fcukin' need to teach you how to play your class?____________

- Ray Break and Greater Ray Break (2 spark +6m range buff) will regain 100 chi 15 seconds after use
Seeker:
- Broken Kettle Tactics (decrease defense increase attack) made stronger and no longer consumes 50 chi
Cleric:
- Blessing of the Gods (no XP loss on death passive skill) requisite level decreased from level 100 to level 95

- Prehistoric Blood (getting hit increases base damage) effect increased : Checked in-game and it gives you +8% weapon attack per hit up to 20 times and lasts for 60s

Yet I did not say that. I'm not saying that you SHOULD NOT drop ulti's. That is your job. I was using that as an example. I do have to point out though that in your nifty little list of MY JOB DESCRIPTION, you seem to have left out something called HEALING. THAT IS MY JOB AS WELL. I'm not wining or begging for this to be understood. I'm saying that clerics should still be able to heal, even if our healing power is cut some. That is my point. Whether or not it will be is up to the devs. I'm saying that I would like to still be able to heal some since I am a cleric. That way when certain situations arise I can still heal my tank, or a DD. Sometimes situations like this arise...you know, like when you accidentially steal aggro, and that cleric casts a quick wellspring on you to save you. Yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Being able to heal, even if that damage was reduced would help me to still serve my function as a healer. My job is to react fast to a particular situation. That can be the difference between your character living and your character dying. Even in metal mage form, we still don't get that great of skills...at least not IN MY OPINION. Its pretty obvious that its not meant as a PERMANENT skill. Also, you complain about me getting to be OP with my new skills plus no reduction, and yet your new skills don't come with a reduction. Chances are, that I'll rarely be in MM form, but I'm saying that when I do, then it would be nice to still have some healing power. (I even said a 50% reduction in healing power when in MM form.) That would make metal mage form more usable as a cleric. Not only do we have to suffer the loss of all of our heals, but also suffer a 10% hp reduction for the increase of attack power. It would be nice to not have that steep of penalty for the additional damage. The skills there are generally lackluster for me, and some of them will see virtually no use from me at all. I don't pvp and I don't tw, so the charm tick skill doesn't serve me well.
Is that too deep of a concept for you to understand?

I would assume the transformed person cannot be attacked. That's usually how those type of skills work in mmos.

Also, I've been leveling up quite a bit on one of the newer servers on pwcn, let's jsut say in addition to the 4x exp rates, there are plenty of freebie item quests added to make leveling for nubs easier.
Lots of fantasy fruits, scarlet fruits, a 50k exp ticket, and pigsly pets ( the one with the blue aura).

you don't PvP and you don't TW. So basically you run around and kill AI controlled stuff. However, you went on to write a guide on how to use a cleric actually ignoring a big part of the game content. So you kinda' wrote something that's half useful...lol. This alone tells me you have no idea how your skills could be used in those two instances of the game ( theory is one thing, actually doing it is another).
When you're asking for a skill to be modified/addapted, usually there are 2 different sides the problem needs to be looked at: PvE and PvP. No one cares if you don't PvP or don't TW, but it matters when you come out and ask for stuff that would break the fragile balance of the PvP (lets say there is /will be one). Healing yourself/using defensive skills while being able to dish out MM like amount of damage isn't tickling any of your working neurons in a kinda' "imbalanced" way?
but why do I bother argue? idiot tactic is to take you down to their lvl and beat you with experience.

I'm hoping it was a mistake in translation and is the frog is unable TO attack, not unable TO BE attacked. which would make more sense, since the jungle ruins frogs cant attack, and a 5aps turned into a frog would still be 5aps.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

They probably changed it after seeing some sin in triple spark status get frogged, then watched it calmly walk up to the afk barb in west arch and drop him in 3 seconds w/ 5 aps frog-jump attacks.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

In yellow: LMAO. Did you really say that it would break the fragile BALANCE? I hate to inform you of this, but that balance has been broken for some time now.
Now. That said, let me explain something to you since its obvious that the cranial space in which your brain is meant to occupy is currently vacant.
Your skills grant you auto shrink, auto purify, good control skills, and the ability to do increasesd damage. The penalty for that? There is none. Just chi and mana...the usual costs.
Now, I'm going to fill you in a little secret. I'm not complaining about your skills or your damage increase and control skills with no penalty either. I'm voicing my opinion on my skills. I'm saying that I would like my skills do be more usable for me as a cleric player....or is that not simplistic enough for you to understand?
Even if I do complain, it doesn't say that its going to change anything. However, I have the right to do so. I have the right to say that I don't like the new cleric skills as they are, and if you didn't like it, then tough luck.
You're also forgetting that we are not the only healing class that has dph. Our dph gets better with MM. I'll grant you that. However, don't forget that a mystics DD power is greater than that of a cleric. They can also heal themselves, and DD with greater power than a cleric can. Not to mention, their heals are faster than ours too.
Also, in regards to my guide, yes, I spoke on pve. Why? Because that's my specialty. I chose to be in a PVE server. I chose not to be in a faction. I chose not to go into pk mode. These were my decisions. Thus, me speaking out from a Pvp or tw standpoint when those are not my strong points is not advisable. I made the guide to help clerics from a pve standpoint, and stated that. Therefore, the guide is fully useful for its intended purpose. I even stated numerous times throughout, that I would incorporate pvp tactics as well as tw tactics if other clerics who do engage in this will be willing to share their knowledge so that I could post it. That's besides the point though. What is the point, is that despite what you're saying....the guide served its purpose.
Interesting tactic of yours. To complain about another player voices their opinion on their skills, and saying that it will break the delicate balance of pvp and tw when your wiz is getting some very nice skills, your bm is getting some very nice skills, and your sin already has some very nice skills.
Yet, if I SUGGEST that you not take away my clerics healing power, then that's quite ridiculous. Maybe we should take away your sins bp. It dealing that amount of damage, and healing at the same time...quite literally is even worse than me stopping my healing to attack. Do you suggest that we nerf the bp of your beloved sin too? I still won't be doing that much damage, and given how adamant you are about a cleric dealing more damage, and healing...you must be the number one supporter of the idea of taking your bp off too."Male Player using female toon. first quest makes you wait 20 min reward
second makes you wait 40 min reward
3rd makes you wait 1 hour reward

That would be useless there but if it ever got implemented here, would be pretty darn awesome.

Right, because you're no-penalty autoshrink skill is SOOOO balanced. If they are going to balance the cleric skills only, but hand out new overpowered skills like candy to every single other far more powerfulclass, it makes the point of balancing the damage of a class that was already the weakest DD wise pointless. Not to mention as you said both sides should be considered, which means the PvP balance isn't the only one that matters. Metal mage mode shouldn't come up with a restriction that you can't use heals. There a lot of things they can do to balance the damage, something that doesn't completely rob the class of it's role in PvE squads. There are plenty of other things they can do without destroying the PvE portion of a cleric's role in squad that would still balance it in PvP.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Here are some new changes to the new skills on the official test server.
Assassin:
can no longer steal other players' money. Only DQ items now.
Psychic:
The new soul skill can separate cata barb from the cata in TW.
Blademaster:
New AOE will refund 2 sparks 12 seconds after cast.
Wizard:
Arcane Light has 25s cool-down.
Archer:
The new thunder skill will refund 1 spark 15 seconds after use.
Stealth will increase stealth level by 31.
Seeker:
The broken axe skill will have better effects and does not cost any chi. (?vague statement)
Cleric:
The level requirement for the no-exp-loss skill is lowereod to 95.
Barbarian:
Increase effects of Prehitoric Blood skill? (?vague)
Venomancer:
Frog can no longer auto attack.
Broken Blow has more range.0 -

Meh... An R9 +12 dagger Sin who gets turned into a frog while triple sparked can still one-two shot half the server with zerk crits. If they were gonna nerf the frog's attacks they would have been better off adding a damage reduction penalty to each (normal) attack instead.0 -
