[Facebook Connect Currently Down] 12-15-2011

Hey everyone,



Facebook recently changed its application functionality, so our Facebook Connect (Jones'/O'Malley's Blessing) application needs to be modified before it starts working again.


Our engineers are working on it right now, and they'll get it back up as soon as they can.


Sorry about the inconvenience.


Update 12-20-2011:

Facebook Connect is back up and running, but for now you will have to manually log into Facebook before attempting to send yourself the Blessing. Our engineers are currently working on the module that will once again allow you to log into Facebook from our site.

    and this facebook application update explains why I can log into the PWE website using facebook and why the jones' blessing page seems to be stuck in an infinite loop of refresh cycles?

    Seems legit for once. Wonder if it was this change.

    Matches up with the time the page stop working I think. If so, it is kinda sat that they waited til after the auto change before fixing it, unless they didn't get the news.

    finally, thanx. It was gettin annoying to see the advertisements in game while the function doesnt work.

    If I have a TON of blessings on a little used character, is it okay for me to take a blessing from one of those characters, put it in the account stash and pick it up with one of my other less-loaded but more used characters?

    Don't want to go against any TOS rules...
    Cash-shopper? That just means I have farmed REAL LIFE, and I want to spend my recreational funds in this game. +12 or GTFO!

    And you believe that?
    We all know PWE has no real devs here, so any fix will take a bit of time. Look at Core Connect, that has never been fixed to begin with.

    Should probably turn off the in-game advertisement for blessings. It's sorta silly when you can't actually follow through with it >_>

    every time the gm's want it to be a system message they break the blessings. so with all the money they make off of Cs like myself you think they would fix it,but no.

    Yep, those system announcements have been disabled until FB Connect is back up :)

    They don't have game devs, they have plenty of website devs. They are completely different aspects of the company.

    Typically I don't provide advice/guidance for free, but will let it slide this time. I'd be happy to moderate those pesky messages for you guys if you're all too backlogged with other issues n__n

    yeah but now you actually have to type your password to log into the game because for some reason they took the facebook log in option away from the site :(
