Sharing Accounts

i know alot of ppl who account share, the rules say its wrong but far as i can tell pwi is random on how they enforce there rules sometimes they might ban u other times they might ignore the issue. its never smart to account share do to u could be robbed/**** >.< and if that happens pwi will just say o well u gave out ur account info ( they also say this even if u didnt give out ur info and got **** and will not help u cuz they are to busy lol how do i know this a friend quit the game and was asked to come back but was banned he asked pwi and they said his account active was random and banned him. come to find out he was really **** all pwi would say is was a euro ip (he is from usa) was on it last but he never gave his info to any euro and pw still said to bad so sad we are to busy to look for ppl who **** u) ive also seen ppl banned for 3 days for account sharing with ppl who lived under the same house cuz ppl reported them and after a few days and pwi seeing they cant prove who was on the accounts unbanned them but ips from diff states can show account sharing but does pwi really have time to go after everyone for this if they dont have time to stop hackers ? lol in the end i dont think its smart but i dont think pwi will super perma ban u over it

Bannable AND stupid.

If you share your account details, you WILL at some point find the account stripped of all valuables.

And the support staff don't want to get into the middle of the recriminations; so they just say "It's against the terms of service, and your own damn fault"

Risk it if you like - I mean, it's pretty difficult to get caught. But in theory it's bannable, and in practice it's disasterously stupid.

But... there are THOUSANDS of accounts that are being shared. I know, just on my server, there are at least 60-70 chars that I know of that have permanently quit and their accounts are used by others. That's just between the groups of people I know, know about and know aren't being played by the original owners...

Not much is ever really done. A few people get banned here and there.

I've never given out my account info, but I'm the minority. Most end-gamers have close friends they trust and some people actually collect these accounts. I've heard of people that have a dozen or more inactive accounts that they can use at any time.

This will only get worse as the game ages further.

Sharing accounts is a bannable offense, and if you think you can't get caught, I have a surprise for you. Many of my friends share their accounts and were banned for a brief period of time due to that, and upon confirming with the GMs, they do perform IP check ups regularly.
