New barb

I would like to make a pure tank barb but have no idea bout the build ive read guides but they all say enough strenth dex for weps anmdarmor and rest in vit but i have no idea wat that is so if some1 could gimmi a build for every two lvls that would b greatb:laugh

    What they are trying to tell you is to make sure that you have enough stregnth and dexterity to equip your newest weapons and keep them up to date. The rest of your stats should go to vitatlity. Do not put any stats in magic though. Magic does not help barbs.

    For pure tank, you're going for the minimal, or close to the minimal in strength and dexterity. I'll see if I can find one of the barb guides and post it to you.


    Found something that may be useful. The creator of this guide gives the level requirements for heavy armor and for the proper weapons as a barb, and does it for each level. So as a full tank barb, that's pretty much what you want to shoot for when statting your points. Hope this helps. Remember that the excess points you want to put in vitality. Do not add any points to magic. You're a melee class, so you do not need magic.

    HA requires 2.5 strength per level, axes require 3 strength per level (covering your armors requirement) and .5 dex. So every two levels that is 6 strength and 1 dex, with three points remaining.

    To calculate times 3 str for every time you've leveled then add the 5 initial stats. So strength requirement is:

    (current level - 1) x 3 str + 5= strength required.
    (current level - 1) x .5 dex + 5= dex required (round up).

    On even levels, put 3 points into Strength and 2 points into Vitality.

    On odd levels, put 3 points into Strength, 1 point into Vitality, and 1 point into Dexterity.

    Easy-peasy.
