Squad LVL's

I did some research and got mixed answers,

I am under the impression that you are good XP wise if its +10/-10 in the group

Ie. 88-98 ect ect.

i am on the verge of 99 and am being told my squadding for one full level must be

99 only is this true?

or do i squad with 99-101's ??

any input?

Level 99 fc was a pain. I truly can't give you an accurate answer, because I don't know what the deal is there for certain either. However, when I was doing it, I did 89-99, 90-99, 95-99, 99+, or whatever I could get. Level 99 kind of falls in a loophole where some feel that you may nerf them, and other times, you're worried that they'll nerf you. I say take whatever you can get for level 99 fc, and run with it. I actually left a few squads because some people felt that I'd nerf them, so I dropped at the beginning. I almost dropped on heads a few times too since I didn't want to nerf. Hopefully someonee can give you a better answer than I can. For now, I'd tell you to take whatever you can get and run with it.

It doesn't matter.

You are a barb, whatever lvl you are people will take you in a 9x squad.

I have to admit how ever , on my server i noticed a lot of :cough: SIN tanks

in my minor research it seems that Pve servers gives people the freedom to play with

stats quite a bit.

hell... i've even seen a sin with less APS then me and a tank barb type build

but i digress. lets hope your right I have 50 percent to go :-)

Well sins can tank FC, yes, but they'll never pull like a barb...nowhere near it, and some of the pulls are the best part...though a BM can pull ;D

While it is true that a sin will normally tank over all other classes in frost once they are in the 9x range and have some decent gear. NONE of them can pull like a barb or bm, and barb's can pull even better than a bm.

So really said on my sin (81.9% to 100 b:victory), I LOVE barbs

In reference to sins tanking...
Eh, it's mostly people refusing to squad randoms and then complaining that they can't get squads. I've been tanking or had another sin tank that bosses in there a lot. Not because I wanted to, but because I'm not gonna spend more than 100k on teles just to get a squad. Most of the squads i've been in, sins have all wanted a real tank. They just are wiling to do it if they can't find one. And then people wonder why they feel no compassion when they shoe is on the other foot. :P

I've even begged for aoe dds and asked in world chat, where my wizzies at? I need you! And guess what, not one replied. On four separate occasions. I've even had one barb, apparently they were waiting until that +3 had went to looking for tank only so they didn't have to wait around. I of course told them that now they were going to have to wait longer. I whispered another tank to join squad with him because I was the last one in the previous instance and knew hadn't reset, he told me that he was "looking for" not "forming" one. Since apparently his time was oh so precious and he was too good to help with the inviting, I left him behind and whispered my tank friend. I had a whole squad while he was still looking. People need to get over themselves and stop acting like matrys if they want to find squads faster. That means, squad with randoms or quit complaining that you "never get to go," and that means that sometimes you have to be the one to invite someone, too. I don't get what the big deal is, if you don't have money for teles and no teles, there is usually someone in squad who does have some and are willing to help you form a squad.

Another barb I invited to my 89-95 squad, he was 91. He told me sorry, I can only run with 90+ people because he refused to be nerfed. I couldnt' find a squad on my sin that day, so went on my cleric. Ended up in squad with him, and the level range was 91-102. I couldn't help but laugh, tell him who I was and how much worse his exp was going to be, and drop squad. The ridiculousness some players have in their head about exp can't really be helped. But most squads will always take a barb. Just go with whatever you can get, going with a squad that maybe doesn't have the optimal exp is usually faster, on our server at least, than standing around doing nothing or giving up entirely.

My archer tanked most random 9x FC cause the squad make-up was so poor b:chuckle
