Who's fault is it?

I am a Sin and a noob about BM so I have this question.
Dual tt 3-2 with a 105 BM. He was one shot by Emperor and he starts blaming me not getting the first short in, he wants me to hit first so he can hf.

I am a squishy Sin kind of, so I was hoping he takes aggro first because if I hit with power dash, I will get aggro right a way.

So who has the better reason here?
Or we are just unlucky, he got one shot by the Emperor, nobody's fault.

    Well, being 1 shot by Emperor as a 105 BM makes him a noob, lol.

    But as for who should hit first it doesn't really matter. Eventually you'll get aggro because he's amping you, not the other way around. This means you are expected to tank his hits anyways so you may as well take the first hit. Besides, if he is HFing you then you will have much better gains from bloodpaint.

    Ideally, you self buff (Deaden Nerves, Wolf Emblem, Focused Mind) sprint in and Ribstrike then immediately spark resist Emperors first attack, Inner Harmony, (He should land HF about now, possibly grabbing aggro of the bosses second attack) and you hit Powerdash. Now aggro is yours. If he's smart he'll have been triple sparking while you triple sparked, then cloud erupted for his HF. Both of you can triple spark again. Then both of you can triple spark + HF again and the boss should die.


    Thinking about it, you probably should take the first hit. Sins are kind of the new tanks, but any aps player willing to tank knows to run in and hit a few times before triple sparking so that clerics don't grab heal aggro or venos don't grab aggro from debuffing the boss. Then you're stuck chasing the boss and wasting spark time.

    I am r9 4aps with 16000 hp buffed. We have Cleric and Barb buff before we start.
    The sequence u describe is exactly what i do all the time, sin's life is easy :)

    He has the best BM fist, lvl105
    Yet our success rate is 50% against Emperor, should I be looking for another part ?b:cute

    I would say the BM for not being charmed, or for being stupid to not use domain/immune pot.


    But hey at 105, he probably glitched his way up and has no ****ing clue what he class does but meh :>

    Nah, just get some immunity pots (Ironguards or lower, just need enough to resist the first couple of hits), and make sure the BM's gear is up to par.

    Myself personally if I was running with ya, the boss wouldn't be alive too long as my wep is at +10 and I know how to basically keep every possible amp I got on my bm on a boss :>

    2. 105 BM 1 shot by emperor?... Wtf were they wearing? TT90?...

    I'd literally have to not be wearing any gear to be 1 shot by emperor. Emp barely hits me for 3k with it's powerful magical aoe when I have phys marrow up + mage def charm, which is easily tank-able with BP. The rest of it's physical attacks are like 1-2K.

    squishy is a relative thing, if u go to a boss and die half of the time, do you feel squishy?

    The BM is supposed to know what to do! I am the newbie, I am the one that just FC and Nirvy to where I am.
    He ran tt32 dual, tt33 threesome for a living.
    He has top gear, the big red glowing fist (sry, don't know name), demon hf, 5aps ...

    As far as one shot, may be not, but he die in the first couple seconds. Of course this is not the norm but it happened last nite and thats why this disagreement!

    And I do use the Dew of Star Protection.

    But it really sounds stupid, I thought it should be easy for us to dual 3-2.
    But we can only kill 3-2 Emporer 50% on the first try.b:cry

    Honestly a 4.0 r9 sin with 16k hp buffed should be able to solo TT3-3 never mind be struggling with emperor in 3-2.
    For the bm to die with "top gear" @105 i just dont understand why? Maybe you could describe some of his armour. He shouldnt die at all fighting emperor he should be able to survive with auto attack and your BP.
    Yes the bm probably was waiting at the start of the fight for you to spark so he could hf on your spark.
    Id say the fault is 50/50 because i think you should be able to solo and i cant honestly understand what happened that bm.

    What lvl bloodpaint do you have (1-10? Demon (11) or Sage (11)??).

    Post a pwcalc.com of your gear and the bm's gear.

    Let me guess, no 38 mob kill count? That's an easy way to die if he's un-charmed... Not even gear will save one from that 50% hp damage AoE.

    Did you BP, and did you kill enough mobs?
    With your daggers i would imagine you hit 100k, maybe alot more i have only experienced nirvana daggers so i cant say for sure, zerk crits on emperor that would be sufficient bp to keep almost anything alive and the fight should only last for a few sparks.
    If you are infact doing everything your saying you do i cant understand how both of you cant kill emperor.

    Well, I can for sure tell you whats wrong. You should purge those worthless vit gems out of your armor and resocket with attack shards. If it is not that then you have too much vit. If it is not that I suggest unrefine something untill you are down to about 10k-12 at the most life buffed. You have way too much life for a rank 9 sin. Also it sounds like your wealthy, so make sure all three of your refinable ornaments are refined to 10-12.

    Ideally you should deaden nerves run up tidal an triple spark,ih,powerdash while the bm is going to triple spark,genie skill, hf. Soon as your first spark wears off then ribstrike an triple spark auto attack. The bm should either triple spark an auto attack too, or glacial spike an tangling mire. With the weapons your saying you have (which is what I an my wife have) the boss should not be alive long enough for you to spark three times. if for some reason your killing it slow, I suggest throwing in a maze steps for you an a will of whatever for the bm.

    I also advise farming uncharmed-as your trying to profit and charms will eat into the profit so much that it is not worth it except maybe in 2x an when they are on sale.

    lol... a r9+12 sin and a lvl 105 bm with g15 nirvana fist +12 getting rolled on emp in TT3-2.. are u messin with us lol... do u have enuf mob count? make sure u kill 38 mobs before trying emp in TT3-2. and if u still die there then all i have to say is check if u are wearing any gear. it doesnt really matter who hits 1st unless the bm and u are gearless u shudnt die against tht boss... i mean like comeon i solo emp on a regular basis.. and i m a lvl 102 bm with g13 +12 nirvana claws and agaisnt u 2 emp shud be like an ant.. its like an ant is taking out a tank.. so whether u are lying to us to get fun out of it... or u didnt kill enough mobs... or somehow u arent wearing any gears while killing emp... cause a sin with 16k hp even without buffs (bp excluded) and a bm lvl 105 with the kind of gear u described shud be able to duo TT3-3 like a breeze and ure saying u have 50% chance to kill emp.... dont bullsht us...

    Maybe you power levelled him and are somewhat responsible? =P

    This looks interesting, I do notice I proc almost constantly and it took a lot of my hp away. (5% of 16k each time)
    Is that the only reason that hp should be 10-12k?
    I have the standard 4 aps R9 gear, G15 hat +12, G15 leg, all gear is +10 and socket with vit gem or vit stone.

    off course I bp and buff with Cleric/Barb/Bm buffs and ware no charm, how else would i die.

    It more and more looks to me the BM don't know what he is doing, I thought he is one of the top BM on the server b:sad

    Uhm....here is a better question...Why the **** would you put vit gems into G13+ gear?


    Seriously, anything G13 plus, unless it is a place holder gem, should have at least DoD (Dragon of Defense, A.K.A. Def +1 gems) or DoT.

    Yes, I am a rank 9+12 assasin. I did have a lunar cape with 4 vit gems and was refined to +10, and the rest of my gear is +11 or 10. I also have g13 nirvana daggers +12 which I got back when rank 9 didn't exist. Anyways the proc on rank 9 daggers creates a negative bloodsuck at anything higher than 11k life, the reason sins can tank so well is that usually you would be healing yourself more than is needed for the damage you are recieving. In the case of the rank 9 you are killing yourself more than the heal and recieving damage from the boss too. I am the guy who accidentally npced my cape. I bought a new one an sharded all attack an didn't refine it.having lost 2k of my life, I noticed a huge difference in my ability to survive. You do want 10-12k life though just to withstand one/two hits from stuff.

    The Bm's main job is simply the one hf, a glacial spike/tangling mire, and as a sacrificial victim should the boss bubble. You really don't need the bm for the boss, it just makes it easier.

    sh*t, I really hate to destroy all the vit gems and vit stones. I wonder what class can inherit all these hp gear.

    You guys are right, in Nirvy sometime I have to pop crab meat like smarties because of the proc, lol.
