Venomancer or Cleric? QQ

hey, i have a level 91 demon venomancer (with herc) and a level 80 cleric. They are both awesome classes, and i have no idea which class to keep as my main, and get rank 8 gear with... i am looking mainly for endgame pve (nirvy's etc. but also little bit of pvp)

Any advice on which character i should take to 100?

    Both are classes that are taken to Nirvanas , but usually Venos are prefered due to their Armor breaks amplify Purge and Pet Full dmg. IMO try the veno first then it will be easy to get cleric too 100 once u start farming Nirvana frequently.

    Having friends that will run it with you helps. The better you are , the more wanted ull become. Just be sure u get the Myriads and Demon Amplify , Venomous , and ironwood. These help a lot in case u dont have them yet.

    maybe it's just me, but i find that some classes benefit more from rank gear than others
    in this case, the cleric more than the veno

    other than that, i would recommend taking the veno to 100 first so you can better farm stuff for your cleric

    Personally, level the veno to 100 first, then use that character to assist the cleric. Unless they are on the same account. then just take the veno to 100. Being a cleric can be very stressful especially at high levels because of the hyper'ed noobs that don't understand their own skills or aggro mechanics.

    Rank gear is worth it, if you want it to be. I have both Venomancer and Cleric at level 100 and I could only get rank gear for one (too much cost to work for two characters, plus college now and all, not enough time) and I chose the Venomancer. I got her high refines even (+5s, +6s and +7). It may have been more useful on my Cleric but I enjoy Venomancer more and thus, for me, getting rank gear for my Venomancer was more than worth it.

    Venomancers get in Nirvana more often than Clerics lately. I usually save 99 key runs on Cleric and otherwise I only use her when friends need heals as well as doing her BHs once in a while. Cleric is fun but Venomancer is more fun for me.

    So I say, go play both and choose what you enjoy the most. Either way, if you are good, you'll find squads, people will add you for more runs etc. Whatever upgrades you do, it will be worth it if you like your character, enjoy playing it and are good at it. It's just a game after all. Get the job done well, the rest won't matter.

    Really? I never seen in my pwi life a party to chose a veno over cleric. Cleric is a must, instead veno is picked last... when is no one else to fill the spot.

    Most clerver APS Nirvana squads get 5 int characters and a veno to speed up things. When u got 5aps BP heal and buffs outside of Nirvana , veno makes things much faster. Also fast killing = less chance to die.

    The whole nirvana APS thing sucks , venos are just part of the system , nothing can be done :(

    If it's any consolation I won't keep running with them after first run. Venos can be great DD and equips should be on par with rest of squad.

    If you're enjoying both classes equally, it's commonly agreed that rank gear for venos is pretty bad and you'll be better off with the cleric rank. (Obviously, if you actually prefer one and play it more, get the gear for that one)
