A Christmas Request to PWI staff :)

I've been playing PWI since closed beta, and ever since the beginning I've been waiting for this untamed flyer:

According to ecatomb it's called "Unique Existence". It's been more than 3 years and it still hasn't been released in PWI. I know that now days people want their stuff fancy and they want it now, and at 2.0 starting speed with a level requirement of 50 and no bells and whistles nor particle effects, it's probably a tougher item to sell than those newer, 3.3 speed, level 10, huge and shiny pack flyers. But my aesthetics are more on the simple side and I know that there are other people with similar tastes.

I remember in one of those forum contests you used to hold (I think it was one of the screenshot-caption contests you held way back when), the grand-prize winner could have had any land or air mount he wanted even if it hasn't yet been released in this version of Perfect World, and he chose this mount. That was during a time when there were very few mounts in the cash shop and ones like the Ninetails and the Boa were only available through contests and limited-time releases, and low-level-requirement, high-speed mounts were already starting to appear on ecatomb and other versions of Perfect World. That should say at least a little about the desirability of this mount.

The new fancy flyers are nice and all but you've been releasing them only in lottery packs, so I think it'd still be a nice treat for the players if you release the older ones into the cash shop. You've released Butterfly's Wish a couple of months ago, why not the other flyers too? Now that players can level up in never-before-seen speed, and level 100+ are common as dirt, the high level requirements are probably not going to be much of a problem anymore.

So PWI staff, can you please put the white eagle in the cash shop for this Christmas, even if it's only for a limited time? I'd appreciate it very, very much b:thanks b:cute

    Packs are still ok as long as they're finally in the game b:surrender

    was released in Perfect Chests, and I found one for 6.5mil, about the same price as a Watcher of the Skies b:victory

    I believe there is one in existence of that white eagle in a server, although I heard that guy quit without passing it on. (Just rumor but something)

    And those wings, gawd for weeks I thought Watcher of the Skies were rare because of the people I saw on Sanctuary had them more than Watcher of the Skies =o

    That would be cool, but I would rather see a flyer similar to the Chronobike. Maybe styled similar to them speederbikes in Jedi.

    While on the subject of what we would like to see... how about new styles for the Chronobikes. Something with a sportbike look maybe.

    Fashion... allow Barbs to wear fashion headgear. And offer some good shades. Lastly, if Fashion is gonna cost as much as it does, how about making it so we dont have to pay ungodly ammounts just to get it all color matched. Seriously! I dont want my Barb walking around wearing a flourescent green shirt, orange pants, and light purple shoes! I AM NOT A PIMP OR ELTON JOHN!!! Yes, we can buy four colors from the Boutique, but it will cost you about $36 or so just to get the needed inks.

    Yep, that was the guy who won it in a contest that I mentioned. I don't remember which server he was on though, maybe Sanctuary.

    I see Watcher of the Skies all over the place on Heaven's Tear. Never saw anyone using Fading Beauty, so I thought if I ever find one it'd go for 20mil or something.

    the player is Kephras, on HT, and he hasnt left the game...he just doesnt play much because he is disgusted with all the packs/gambling/etc. (here is a vid of why he isnt on much now) he got the eagle as a prize when PWI had a 'best video' contest. i dont remember what the original prize was, but he asked for this instead, and so he has the only one in the entire game... here is a vid of it in flight, and while you are there, take a look at his other vids. the guy is a master with PWI vids!

    I remember now, that was a very fun contest (although I didn't enter cuz I knew I didn't stand a chance XD). There were so many awesome entries, and also a lot of hilarious troll entries. The top prize was a choice of any land mount, and the second prize was any air mount. I think the 3rd prize was fashion or something. Kephras won top prize, but he asked if he could have an air mount instead, and the GMs agreed.

    I quit the game for almost 2 years too because of the packs, but now I'm back XD Not surprised that the packs are still here, but surprised that people still behave the exact same way as 2 years ago with the packs: complain and hate on them all over the forums, yet still buy them like hotcakes...but then again, casinos and the like have existed for almost as long as humanity even though everyone knows how poor the chances are.

    Do GMs still hold those forum contests like video contests and caption contests and the such? The Christmas before I quit, they did a Christmas card contest where people design Christmas cards using only MS Paint (and similar programs of other operating systems), that was fun.

    I got to see Keph one of the final times he logged in before making that video, and also before I transfered to LC server. I have to say, I do love his video's. Just wish that I could see him more often :>
