Wth Pwi Just Spammed My Email!!!

i woke up this mornign and log into my gmail and then popped up like over 20-30 emails. all of the subject was pwe1 (so im sure it's by PWE/PWI). All of them said that i haven't replied to support.     This is where I'd generally think to myself.... "AND..." ....

    Meaning do I really care that I have not responded to support tickets? I'll get to it, when I get to it... Yes I have issues w/ people trying to nudge me that I help financially support in some way/shape/form.

    I'd prob ignore the emails, go log and then report the emails to my email carrier as spam and delete.

    You seem to have a lot of issues with the game... Nothing the community could've helped with? b:question

    Annyway it's a known issue... GM's are busy with the ticked system and this kinda happened... You can just delete them or leave them be for now if you like... b:victory

    b:pleased I only got 5 of the old tickets dropped in my mail, they're probably just closing them all out for everyone officially.....

    wierd though, I just check my ticketing history to see what they've finished and whats still on the works...b:bye

    Op never called them suspicious, they were merely just surprised how many emails they got. b:beatup

    And it takes about the amount of common sense of a rock to realize he's talking about the same thing if you read the other thread. Like i said (and u said i was wrong....) if he had bothered to look first we wouldn't have another thread on this. but meh....

    They didn't make the thread to discuss how suspicious it was (op didn't even say it directly either), they were pointing out how lulzy it was. Two different things.
    That doesn't excuse op from not posting in the other thread though.

    Heres a hint: if the subject line has "plz" in it, SUPPOSEDLY from PWI, and no RE: before it, it's probably some lowlife trying to scam you.

    Anyway, I get a bunch of "emails" from things like Capital One Credit Company, for example, when I don't even have a capital one card, and they are very convincing. I have very good internet security so I clicked the "support" link and it took me to a block page because of a possible virus.

    It's already been established those were legit emails.
    What you were seeing in the subject line of the emails was the context of op's tickets.

    The op is expressing that they noticed it was sent by pwe.
    Due to a lack of key hints, this part may or may not imply sarcasm. If it is indeed the latter, the op surely does not believe it was sent by pwe, hence believing it to be fake. The op never followed up to confirm this on their end though, so it would be logical to assume they thought it was reasonably legit.

    In this final part of the post, the op seems to confirm my suspicion that they thought the emails were not only legit, but were in fact making light of the situation. They were making a slight joke about how pwe should make things easier instead of making spam.

    In the other thread, http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1241551, not only did the op did assume the emails were not legit, they questioned as to whether or not they were scams.
    The op of this thread has done neither.
    This thus proves that the subject of this thread is to make fun of pwe's new crappy support system.

    EDIT: Also, it's not the same email being spammed, technically.

    If the op had posted in the other thread, the point of it would've been in lost in the sea of "zomfg its a scam" posts.
    While the op of this thread most likely didn't see the other thread, they've would've made another thread anyways due to the fact that they didn't believe it to be a scam. This is why technically this thread is different from the other.
    Though making new threads about the same things is annoying, they're technically two different views on what happened earlier. b:cute
