Mirage Celestones

I've got like 20 celestone fragments. It says to go to a gem merchant to make a mirage celestone. I bring them to the gem merchant, talk to him, and I only get the *cancel option. "My job is to collect gems and combines them into something else" (yes, he really says combines instead of combine)

Basically, I don't know if it's a glitch or if there's another step to it that nobody tells me about, just like the time I bought scarlet ninetails. It said NOTHING about being an egg, even though almost all the other mounts said "EGG" in the boutique. So I was having a tough time trying to ride it until I just figured Id go to the pet manager anyway.

    u got 2 choices, 1st is 25 fragments for 1 mirage
2nd choice is to have 3 celestone of heaven, 3 celestone of human and 3 celestone of earth and combine those into 1 mirage.

Well I DO have 25+ in my inventory, but when I go to the Gem Merchant, he gives me no option of combining them. He just tells me he combines them, but doesn't do it for me.

nowhere near. I can accept more quests, I DO have one open to collect the 3 human, earth, and heaven stones. Should I abort that one?

Pick the quest, look at your quest list, it must be green if you have all the fragments you need to turn it into a mirage.
Talk to the npc again and turn the quest where it auto trade your fragments for a mirage.

Make sure your quest list is not full.
Make sure your inventory is not full.
Make sure you didnt just loged in with the safety lock on.
I never had issues with this npc. I had 25 frags on inventory , took the quest and turned in to get the mirage.
This kind of quest is same as the exchanging mats for wine

If you still cant turn in , try to relog and wait for safety lock timer to expire .

Let's say IF a npc get broken due to a new patch and its not working, try in another major city.

i tried to repair my gear in streams and nothing happens, i moved to arch and wam done

so after you follow the following as above if it still does not work try a different area.
19k Hp and rising my goal is 20k unbuffed (would love 25k )

Since no others knows, yes abort that one, you can only accept (and do) one of the exchange quests, if you got fragments ditch the stones.

    I got it

I had to trash the quest to get 3 of each to start the quest to turn in 25. I would have assumed it worked just like a shop did. O.o stupid bug is all.

While on the celestone topic, and so I dont have to start another thread,

Between Zeal, and the other 3 genies, is there a difference in which one I should get? It's got such a slow growth rate with stats and skills that I feel like I'm due for a stronger genie and shouldn't keep throwing my points away on this one.

The only differences between genies are the initial skills (the zeal's earthflame is the most useful of the bunch, as it can be used for luring; some people like the discipline's windforce for the flying speed bump, though) and the initial stat distribution (each gets 15 in one stat, 3 in another, and 5 in the remaining two, but which stat is low and which high depends on genie type.)

There is one other difference, in that the maximum points in a stat that a genie can have before it starts to cost double to level up that stat is 40 + initial stat value. So, if the initial stat value for Mag is 15 and the initial stat for Str is 5, then when Mag is 55 or Str is 45, those stats will start costing 2 points for each stat level you raise them.

See Genie Guides at the wiki for all sorts of useful info on genies.
