I get a kick out of the people on here that whine about 2x because it hurts their coin income, instead of focusing on the negative aspect of an event that will encourage new players to join, why not take advantage of the event and start that other alt you have wanted to try. God knows you wont do the quests and just fc the thing to whatever level you think is ok to start playing but hey go for it. With 2x you can bring a toon to 30 in one session and you can try that build you always wonder about. If it doesnt work delete the toon and start again, who knows maybe that heavy armor build on a cleric will work and you will have a new breed of rambo morons.

In closing I would like to thank whomever made the decision to give 2x til the end of the year as I can now work on my alts without taking so much time away from my main, and try not to take what these tired old window lickers are whining about to heart, after all it isn't possible to make them happy, they would complain if you hung them with a new rope.


p.s. if they do get to you and you want to find out if they would complain about a new rope let me know, I tie a good noose.

ppl in vana restict slower ppl to get into vana-->People have to pay to reach reqiurements
--> then they start being the people who restricted them and restrict those who cant reach the same requirements that they couldnt reach before they payed.

may not make sense to some but it makes perfect sense to me

@Vital_Slash: I understand where you are getting at. I found this problem the first 2x in dec, i was new to the game. During anni time i did not have funds to run vana. But during december and september i was farming, playing, enjoying the game and setting up my shop. It took some time, but nearly a year later i can afford to set up shop for raps and cannies at low prices even though i won't need the mats for some time. Merchanting can get the gear but requires 24/7 connection and having fun on the main.

Since they fixed goons, vacs is not a good market anymore. Fairy boxes removed from solo mode, so tt solo is no go, squad tt is still good. This doesn't really leave many farming options behind, but there are some, but if you are patient it will work. Best thing to do in my opinion is get a good weapon first and build up your aps. You may not get into 5 aps squad, but often time 4aps squads have 3.33 aps sin which have good refined weapons (+5~+10). Low aps squad are not slow but more that they fail and people quit after dying once or twice (heavens forbid they have to realease, woe to the experience loss b:cry, like they want to get to 105 tomorrow), that is why i prefer 4+ aps squads or good 3.33 aps squads.

Money is not really made in vana these days, 1~1.2m rap price, 250k~350k. Least drop 5 canny 1 rap, max drop 12 canny 3 raps. 1.25m/1.75m+1m/1.2m, 2.25m/6 to2.95m/6=375k~491k on the low run. 3m/4.2+3/3.6 = 6m/6 to 7.8m/6 = 1m~1.3m per run. Realistically speaking 500~700k per run if you take the most often occurring range. Each run takes 25~40 minutes at your lvl. 15~20 for 4aps squad, maybe 10~15 minutes for 5aps people, any quicker requires all members to have good refines on weapon. So in one hour you can make 1.5m~2.1m. A better option if you have friends is to join them in tt 3-x runs. Those runs over value/time will be greater, will take longer, probably 20minutes~1 hour, depending on how good your friends are, but you can see that is a route available still to farm for money. Hope that helps.

Getting to endgame is something you work at. The main problem with the forums is that the majority of the participants would rather complain about how Cashshopers ruin the game than actually play it. You guys are no better than the lazy bums who don't even bother finding a job because "the economy is bad"

Here's a post from me 6 and a half months ago showing how crappy my gear were after returning to the game after over a year of absence. After hitting 89 I simply went to hell, timed, and picked up herbs.

There's the results after a month of playing. As you can see even though my gears aren't amazing they're a big leap forward from what they were before. You can also see some end game gears pop up such as the TT99 bracers. I actually ended up leaving half way through that 2x event due to a family vacation that summer. I only did maybe 5 vanas with faction mates, but around 50+ solo TTs making hook and thorns and collecting fairy boxes and got my deicides.

I again took another 3 months off from the game to play ~removed~ competitively with a close group of friends. So I invested my coin in gold hoping something would happen when I returned. Sure enough when I come back everyone and their mom had R8 and I joined in and used that gold to get some rep badges which is turning a profit. I did cube and BH100 daily which generates at least a couple mil a day and now my gears look something like this.

It's not amazing, but it's 5.0 with a decent weapon to get me into most 5.0 squads. If not I can settle for 4.0 or chill with my factionmates/friends I've met while playing. As for my odd gears, the pants I went LA first because I have a R8 Archer to stash it between. I'll be working on upgrading that TT90 chest to 99 so I can get a elemental necky on and will prob save the rest of my money for refines to get my decides to +10 or make a pair of windpours. This game takes time, enjoy meeting new people and the fun randomness it has to offer.

Edit: Also ever since I found out duel clienting is allowed now I've got a cleric on a 2nd account in the making. Soon I'll be able to start soloing TTs / other I'd rather name methods of getting coin.

Ok whats wrong here i am lvl 102 just did 5 hyper stones at 12x and its 2x exp for 1 hour on lvl 110 mobs and only got a .4 what is going on a full fc there not alot of exp. you buy hyper stones for x2 exp and there no exp. all i got was just a little .4 i burn up hp and mp charm + 5 hyper stone for a .4% in lvl b:angryb:cryb:surrenderb:sadb:shutup

lvl 101 to 102 is 250 mils or so exp, so i can see easy why ur grinding just gave .4 from 102 to 103, looks totally normal to me.

No, hypers during 2x is x13, not x14. 2x adds x1, hypers adds x11 to the base x1, so x1+x1+x11 = x13. During exhaustion time you get x1.1 during 2x.
