How do I get rid off the badge of lucius the tainted

I got it from a quest a while ago, and its taking space in my bank that I need

    there's a quest you can only complete if it's in your inventory at the time, and if it is, then it disappears as the quest proceeds.

    Thats not what they asked.

    I believe you can sell the token at an NPC OR you can simply drop the token to get rid of it.

    I have looked online and fail to see the quest that requires this badge.

    It would be helpful if those that know would pass along this information.
