Yea that is why the american government is doomed to fail greed gets the best of them. Which leads to corrupt officials leading that only look for their own intrests.

Funny isnt it that is how families work you speak out as a kid against your parents you get punished.

Communism is a perfect economic model because and only because it has been built up over many years. What many people forget...actually what every person forgets who is not a Marxian theorists is that Communism takes place after and only after the productive forces and relations of production within a SOCIALIST political system have reached their nadir. It is at this time when revolution occurs bringing about a Communist state.

The example of the family is a pretty poor example when trying to understand Communism. What the family may be an example is State-run Socialism, with the State (The 'Father/Mother') owning the means of production whose resources are than spread amongst the remaining members


As for 'Greed' being inherently part of Human Nature, such an account has been showed to be flawed by both Biologists (Richard Dawkings/PZ Meyers) and Philosophers (Jean-Paul Sartre, Locke, Rousseau). Biologists believe that rather than Greed it has been co-operation which has allowed Humans to flourish as much as it has.

Greed has been perpetuated by the Capitalist agenda and is the stigma of the Capitalist mode of production.


On a side note....How come Kylin did worse this week when it had Valalala members?

Thanks for the long and mildly interesting post was in fact not bad reading. They could be wrong about greed to.

So here we have it. The light has faded on center stage and the end of the story is here. Kylin has lost and the last faction that could win a 1 vs 1 has proven its not strong enough. Now its time to see if the new alliance system might change something. Which wont be much since allies always were.

Something to keep in mind is that Catalyst's TW attendance fluctuates between 50-80 people And Kylin's between 60-80. We also only ended up inviting a handful of people from Valhalla. We had a ton of applications from them, but Pry apparently told everyone it was a merge (it wasn't). When we refused to invite her and RocketPower, all but a few people decided they didn't want to join anymore. It was pretty funny, actually.

If your reasons for not inviting Pry/Rocket and friends were that they cause drama, then you did well.

If they were because of some other reason that wasn't very solid, like keeping face or "they fail at TW" or something, that was a bad choice, and if I were you I'd diplomatically seek to renew the merge effort.

You can easily demand all of the new Valhallas join vent at a specified time, and you brief them in detail on the climate changes they should expect and then slowly leak them into the TWs. Let 3 into a TW this week, squad them up with some decent people, have them get in the rhythm, and then leak in 2 more next week, etc, etc. No need to actually put them all into war the same week.

Rocket seems to be a cool guy to me, and for the rest, idk enough to comment. Have fun \o/
