Server Problem

Okay this started about a month ago, the west side server was running PERFECTLY i had my mains all on the west server(arch) and its been at least half a month and the server is still offline while all the others are online and running perfectly.

I know it isnt my internet or anything to do with my side because, other servers would have the same problem,i wouldnt connect to the internet or games i already play on my pc would ave problems but there perfectly fine.

I cant post any pc specs bc dad blocked all the programs which to me is absoulute bs.

But please help resolve issue

Apparently you cant help if u just block or ban people for asking for help because your server wont let me access West Side server.

    It's more likely that something you dad did is blocking your access to the server. See if you can do a traceroute.

    It's much more likely, (like 99%), that the problem is either A. on your end, or B. an issue with the path of data between you and the servers. Neither of which are under PWE's control.

    Also, dunno how your access got blocked, unless it got closed because you are posting this multiple times.

    Ahh I see some of your other posts. Yeah, you keep blaming the servers, but never provide any supporting information.

    You should read more of Sylen's posts about lag, DC'ing, and the general issues that can possibly exist between your chair and the game servers.

    i have the sme problem with the us east server, i dit play there for over a year and sudenly i can connect anymore with that server, the other, us west and europe runs fine here, but no acsess to the us east server.

    Thats just it. I've never anything. I load the client,log in,play,kill, log out,sleep, wake up and repeat.

    I've never once done ANYTHING to make the servers not work.

    and I cant provide ANY info. My frikan dad has all those helpfull programs blocked.

    For ChaosRip - Archosaur, looking at your trace, hop 1 is your router, hop 2 is your modem, and hop 3 is your ISP. You should be getting a response from hop 3, typically around 10ms or so. Yours is timing out. That shows that you likely have an issue with either the phone cable between your modem and the wall, inside-house wiring, or the wire between the pole and the CO.
    Alternatively, it could be an issue with the actual CO. I would recommend contacting your ISP and have them take a look at it.

    Also, your second trace is not a game server, or even exists, pwiwest4.perfectworld.com is the Archosaur server, so somehow the 4 must have been omitted in your paste. In either case, your route is stopping in Washington, not San Jose as it should. This indicates that a hub between you and PWI is dropping packets and preventing a connection. That would be hop 15 most likely on that run.

    First look into why you aren't getting a response at your ISP, then work from there.

    Well w.e why bother fixing a sever. that I barely use anymore. I mean NOTHING in my network or isp has been changed to cause stuff like that.
    1 day is perfect than a week and its **** next week its fine and so on.

    Yewt ALL the others are 100% PERFECTLY fine

    I'd have to guess that you didn't even try looking into it any further did you?

    And people wonder why nothing gets fixed.

    It's not the server that's the issue. It's either something on your end, or something in-between.

    I gave you tips on how to check out the problem that is quite obvious at your ISP connection Which is between your modem and the CO you connect to. Follow up or quit the game. your choice.

    I'd love to check into them but 1 im 16. My dad owns the internet(lol mine) and i could careless anymore. It used to work fine before patch 584 after that theres been no luck

    did this ever get resolved? Im having similar problems connecting to a server, it keeps timing out and ive just downloaded the game and updated etc... have checked heaps of forums and tried doing the anti virus let the game play thing, also this is my traceroute but ive no clue where to go from here, please send help.
