Are Archers dead??

I am very curious but are Archers really dead I mean do they specialize in anything at all currently? cause in zhen parties they are sorta-replaced by Seekers, in PVP they are replaced by Sins and Psys and in TW they are also replaced by Psys I'm not trolling but I truly wanna know cause I wanna know if it's worth it to continue on my Archer or not even in the nirvana and TT squads they are being replaced as DD. All the help is appreciated once again m not trolling just curious.

    Yes, the only class thats still alive outside of TW is sin, bm and cleric

    Psy and Mystics too if I'm not mistaken ofcourse referring to the fact that you know your class well

    Wow, people still zhen? anyways dunno how it`s on your server but here we still have a lot of archers, since the aps re tardation many use fists/claws so I would not even call them archers now lol.

    Archers definately aren't dead, dureing almost every tw ive attended archers are thriveing. A lot of sin mains have now even made archer alts to tw with, while archers can be replaced in a zhen or as dd tw is definately a archers ball game BoA locks down a flank better than any other aoe mostly because your 30m+ behind the tower and now the enemy has to get past your defenders and/or your BoA + others BoA.

    I wouldn't say that they are dead.. R9 Archers are wanted in TWs and hit freaking hard. If you wana join a nirvana squat, make your Archer a 5 APS class(archer where the first who reached 5APS, some even before sins came out).

    So in Mid-Game, yep might be hard for you, but not harder, as for all DD classes, like Wiz or Veno, just to name two that aren't that "wanted" too.

    I think archers have much potential, if the player knows how to play the class. Your range attack is is high and if sth. get's close switch to fists and do a lot dmg too. Archers have usefull dmg reduce skills, which help in some situations too. The HP reduce, used in the right situation can save you a lot of time since it takes 16(lvl 10) to 20(sage)% of Bosses HP.

    @Xyrika ok just a question what's the max dmg per second for 5aps archer and the max DPH for archer using their strongest skill at the farthest range? does it even apply to the dmg or efficiency of the respective field of attack's class?

    I also heard that archers can't be efficient in both fists and bows is that true?

    @Badazmofo ok so if they shine in TW alone I don't think it's that fun to roll just for TW especially if it's gonna be my main right?

    also how expensive is a Nebulae Shooter bow in coins for rep, mats and etc

    Since people are blinded by aps just get a crappy fcc gold fists and you can basically get into any squad.

    People aren't that blinded that they are gonna let you into their Nirv squads with those fists... 5 aps or not. During the last 2x event, lots of Deicide wearing Archers couldn't get into squads either.

    lol i do great dmg as dragon fist barb,use same fist on my archer,and my bm.I also have claws as back up but are weak in comparison against dragons,and yeah the dmg out put with an archer withthem on is hardcore.

    I play archer because I think it's fun I always found it satisfying to plunge arrows into an enemy. I like watching my arrow fly towards them saying thats gonna hurt and when it crits yell BAM HEADSHOT!

    I've PvPed some damn good archers - trust me, they are not dead.

    hey there ... b4 i stard i am srry for my english ... b:surrender - i got a main archer lv 100 ... and i would say that archers are not dead ... yes sins are pretty hard to kill but basicly its all about the skills ... as for the nv, well i have just started to make my archer aps .. i am 2.86 atm and i realy like it .. it also help in close combat... range is realy important for archers but when the enemy get close u can easyly finish him with fist/claws ... the only think that i dont like is that BP got no effect on archers ... and why is that ? ok i am not saying that bp should have effect when i am with bow but why should not when i am with claws ... still sins can use bows right... and archers buff got effect on them.... why is it not the same for archers...

    You're going to have an easier time than seeker in finding a vana and you're going to have an easier time than a sin getting into a delta. You may not be best and what they do best, but you're quite flexible. I also hear archers are amazing in TW, but I don't TW yet so I wouldn't know.

    I have barely encountered barbs, archers, wizards, mystics, seekers and psychics in squads as I came back to the game when I took a break. As far as I know, I stopped playing my archer because I was going nowhere with the FFs thanks to random barbs not holding aggro well, but I might go back on her again. So I keep on playing as barb instead for now. Maybe you were on at a bad timing.

    The old classes really are good - if a person takes time to level and learn them. On my server, there are some amazing players in all classes, especially archers and BM's.

    It's all about learning your class and understanding the strengths/weaknesses and working around those.

    i did thought archers were dead also i started one as a TW alt now its my main and i start to pk with it also and its awesome its like boom boom BOOOM CRIT dead. i am not even full dex and i 1 hit Wizards,Clerics with Sage Take if you have a lil skill u will have a good time playing archer

    i've seen an equally geared sin drop to an equally gear archer 1v1 plenty of times. so no they aren't dead.
