Official GM word: Veno going into Fox Form with Broken Claws

So the game lets you go into fox form with claws if they are broken. Someone mentioned in another thread that the last post from frankie said they aren't banning venos for doing this but I have searched everywhere for like 30 mins looking for any official GM stance on this. I can't find anything at all.

What is the current official status of using this mechanic? I'm getting the impression that it hasn't been really decided if this was intended design or not? If the current stance is that there is no official position then that's fine. I don't see anything about it the official announcements:

I have all the gear already on my BM and won't mind playing with it as a silly build on my unused veno alt.

I'm not really interested in a discussion of the merits and limitations of doing this build. I just want an official GM address on it. Keep in mind that only someone with a red name can give an official stance.

    There's ways you can do it without even having to break the claws tbh...

    I know a Barb that did this and got banned, however this was like...a year or more ago.

    I got banned for 3 days for doing this in a duel with lvl 30 claws about 6-8 months ago x.x

    Like to see an official word as well. I'd love to be able to use axes and such on mine in fox.

    Ehh even if they had this rule you couldn't take a screenshot of it. Fox form hides the weapon and the the character info window doesn't show if that was the gear you had on before or after you entered fox form. The only way to report people would be with a video.

    That's probably why they don't want to enforce it. "Proof" can be easily faked.

    if they're going to allow this they should make it so you are able to use fox skills with them as well.

    Personally, I liked the idea of a magic claw weapon for the venomancer class. Makes perfect sense.

    I know this is limited since you can't use skills like amp while using claws but it can be fun trying something silly.

    EASY: DO IT.

    Why? Because PWI doesn't give a **** about it. BM and Sins used the glitched Cast Cancel for years, heck go to the ranking page, 99% of the 105 and 104 non sins there used goonz glitch, you think PWI gave a **** about it? of course not... then why would they care about some caster using claws?.

    However imo reroll a BM if you want to use claws, this game is biased towards -int anyway and a BM are much more tough, also even glitching your damage will be low compared to a sin anyway, sad thing that not even using glitch you will be able to be close to such OP class b:sad.

    I say abuse the glitch any way you feel comfortable.
    No one's gonna ban you for anything.
    Look at goonerz, any of them banned/rolledback? naaah. And trust me, they never will.
    So, go fox form 5 aps and have as much fun as u can, no one really cares enough to ban you. And from GM perspective, they could not care less.
    FiveAps - PvE char made from half as.s unbound gear sold by a wizard, doing 18x the damage and 10x the money the wizard was ever capable of. b:laugh . Only in PWI.

    It's pretty much the same exploit, so it'll be treated the same way as tiger-form claw barbs.


    So yeah, illegal.

    Then why does Veno have 'Melee Mastery' as a skill? So they can break their magic weapons faster?

    Maybe you should suggest to the Devs to fix the class.

    Set the weapon so ONLY certain classes can use them, that way its restricted that way theres no "Glitching/Cheating" used. Its like people complaining about using genies in a duel. If it wasnt allowed then it wouldnt be used but since theres nothing on the fact on the game itself stopping the use of the genie much less use of claws to classes then forth it shouldnt be our fault that this is usable and being abused. If its not allowed then make it so on the game and not here. This here is just talk and all anything be done is QQ, so suggestion, change the Claws Class Allowance, simple. (Just saying)

    You mean like goon glitching was "illegal"? yet the gooners have yet to be banned? I really wouldn't even bother making posts like that if you GM's aren't going to back up your words, if anything it's just laughable, all the obvious level 105 goon glitchers that use the forum makes me lol.

    Honestly it doesn't make sense for the melee form of a veno to not be able to use a melee weapon.
    I tested it in middle/low levels a while ago, and for melee damage you're better off in human form wearing HA using melee weapons, rather than with a magic weapon in fox form and maxed melee mastery. The melee weapon can even be severely underleveled compared to a more level appropriate magic weapon. So yeah fox form is a tad disappointing except for the physical resistance increase. HA veno is still fun to play, but the dd compared to say, any truly intended melee class, is naturally much less.

    Like all glitch abuse, though I personally doubt there'll be any punishment for it if you did do it, the best thing to do is stay away from it.

    However, punishment for glitches seems to relate to company profitability, and as there's little profitability for fox form claw glitching, it might get punished more with proof; rather than goon glitching, which is very profitable and therefore gets no punishment :3 I mean profit in terms of real money of course :3

    How can GMs catch you anyways?

    If I were to glitch claws on my Barb, I would probably only do it when I'm inside a TT soloing it without anyone else seeing me doing it. I would be the only one that knows I "glitched" it.

    This is another example of using fear to get players to not do anything, just like the FC glitch.

    Screenshots are enough. You can't change your Equipp in Foxform.
    And you can't change into the Foxform if you have Claws equipped.
    thats Why they exploit the "Broken-Glitch"
