hi guys

I am making a seeker for fun nothing serious bc i tw/farm(tt/nirvy/event) with my cleric,pk with my mystic, nirvana with veno, sin coming for some serious farming/event things.

so i want to make a seeker purely for pve no pvp at all. and for fun. i was thinking of LA/vit build like 100 vit at lvl 100. i would like to be able to pull in ff, do rb, key collector for nirvy. so would this build work for pulls in ff/ tank vortex in pq at lower lvl? cos i wanna use the same gear as my sin . he has good LA gear/shards. i kinda dont wanna invest another set of ha in something i'd jsut do for whatevs. but i dont wanna be extreme squishy at low lvl either cos i do plan to go bh/quest through low lvl so ill be there a while. plz your thoughts on this. i havet made her yet. still in the making process trying to make her face perfect first... lol i know im picky.

is this a horrible idea?

would my seeker be extreme squishy even with alot of vit?

how much vit should i put?

which swords are better? dual swords or single sword?

how much hp is good for a seeker at lvl 80/90/100? im not really wanting to tank cos i know sins will take agro or bm i jsut wanna be able to make sucessfull pulls.

would 100 vit nerf my dmg alot?

maybe thoughts on sage/demon too? which ones has good skills? i know using my sin's gear if my seeker goes demon hell have 2.5 aps but that prolly doesnt matter for seeker. (ill look at ecatomb when time comes to chose)

I may be biaised but LA seeker are not worth it, even if its for fun. sure you get more magical def, but seeker job is definitely aoeing and that involve a lot of physical damage over magical damage. better get HA for that.

is yes, because that much vit wont make up for the lost of physical def and magic damage will still hurt a lot. Tough, i saw a seeker in my faction having a LA chest, that might be good if you want.

for the hp for lvl 80/90/100, up to you but you'll have more if you equip HA armor (again biaised i know lol). A nice hp for lvl 80 would be close to 5k with citrine (hp) shard.....which i dont even have at my lvl 'cause i shard with physical shard and have lvl 80 gears b:chuckle.

for sage/demon.....each are good. i wont say which is better then the other, i'd need to make a demon seeker to test that (in a near future).

its silly for a couple of reasons, first off you dont go light armor cause of the added magic damage its really not that much better, i mean your talking <1k more mdef endgame if im not mistaken, secondly your pdef will go down drastically, over 60%

and for what? 5-6 more crit%?

Im full str, capped dex at 160 with voidlands tome and with my full r8 set I have 21% crit.

but like you said, for fun? do what you do. I have plenty of "for fun" chars, and the thing with them kind of characters is you just make em and have fun with em, you dont go to the forums and say hey im gonna make a LA seeker when you already know what the general beleif of seeker-forumgoers is of LA seekers and interval seekers.

so either attention need filled

My seeker is still low but I have HA/vit build. This build makes me able to tank almost anything at my level.(I say almost anything because I did not tried everything lol) Seekers are real tough with HA seriously, I dont think they need LA. I just made the whole phoenix valley with my girlfriend pressing ''ironheart'' only.

But Seriously experience it until level 60, if you dont like it reset.

potentially my seeker would look like this when she's lvl 80 with 50 vit and 5.2k hp. this is the gear i already have for my sin i would just have to give to my seeker when she's lvl 80. what i mean is would it be ok to just have this and not invest in another set of ha.

@ Deadlife- you dont need to be so rude. if you dont want to help someone who knows nothing of seekers then plz do not comment. i have seen la seekers out there that does nicely. and as i said what i will be using my seeker for is ff and rb and pq at low lvl nothing other i want to be able to survive in those so i want an input if la would be an ok choice. you have not answer any of my questions at all so dont bash me for knowing nothing about being a seeker bc i havent squad with them at all only in rb which wouldnt tell me their full potential yet. and i wouldnt go with r8 tt99/nirvy. and i have already said it my seeker wont be tanking i was asking what would be an ok hp for pulling.

edit with 5 base vit she'd have a lil more p def but 4.5k hp. would she be able to pull with this? or 50 vit is way better?

I've been squaded with some LA seekers, one had full Nirvy LA+5, I have TT90+3, I saw his HP jolt around on pulls quite haphazardly (We had BP), I honestly suggest that you go for HA since any casters would probably move out of your aoe range anyways. Or! Just have both sets around, have a pull your not comfortable with? Put some HA on

Anyways, seeker with LA is meh, but they look so cool *_*

You're right, I am sorry for assuming you were somewhat intelligent enough to do a semi-thorough search in the seeker guides and/or to find an answer to a question of which I am almost positive has been asked before.

Furthermore regarding your statement of me not answering any of your questions, I did answer all of your questions and wrapped it all into a neat little answer of why you shouldnt go LA regardless of the reason.

But, even still I will go ahead an offer what you may or may not deem worthy in answered-question land.

No I do not beleive you will be successful in operating large pulls in any instance as light armor, at all on the hall pulls with magic mobs despite what people say about oh wow more mdef with LA, thats ****, and those mobs will deal tons of damage to you in short time, big room fcc? Hell no. Why? simple there are 4 little mobs that have a nasty little curse which as you may or may not remember causes you to take more damage, and being as you are not planning on going r8, HA, or even having a super-duper nice refined weapon, with gimped str, heavy vit, I dare say your bloodpaint return, coupled with tons of melee damage while amped yourself wearing light armor....i could go on, but you get the point(hopefully).

Also, you say you wont be tanking, but thats a side job that 99% of the normal server population relates you to, dont be planning on doing too many BH runs as just the DD, unless you have a nice faction or large friend list as barbs in the lower levels are getting more and more scarce, at least on the servers I play on.

I mean seriously, if you are not planning on doing anything other than just running around for laughs, or helping noobs with their kill quests on the 20-29 cultivation chain, going LA "any"game is just plain silly.
