Venos - New pets any better?

IIRC no new tamable mobs in the EG area so Glacial Walker is still where its at, yo.

get a skatefish instead of a bee.... wont' have to listen to that ANNOYING noise.... lol they're bout the same in stats.... unles u can get a flying pig for a air pet but that's for harder things (if u can't get a nix the pig's your air tank).

And the scorp.... ya it's got like 600 more attack at 100 compared to a Dark WAnderer or sea monster guardian. but..... again.... scorp has a constant annoying noise too i think. lololol Idk I'd rather a fight take a couple min longer then have to listen to that damn noise all the time but that's just me.

Dark wanderer's the black horses with a lich or something riding it by Nightfire Altar. The Seamonster Guardian's are originally Ebony Helldukes by the glacial walkers (and skaefish are OVER the walkers btw). Wanderer's your attacker for bosses that aoe physical, Guardian's for bossses that aoe magic.

Yes, Sawfly is stil the best non-nix air pet, but it's freaking the most annoying pet you can have.

Skatefish isn't that far off and I like the skills it comes with better. Lost Slow and replaced it with Flesh Ream.

for non-herc tanking I still stand my walker with Bash, Roar, Flesh Ream and Tough. Higher DPS than just about any pet at the same level as it and it's damn tough.

The only way I figured out to change it is to change the level range, seems ecatomb is set up that way. t's still good for comparing stats but is annoying to find all the info among the creatures you're not interested it >.<

Few things though if given the proper skills a scorp DOES have the potential to have more DD via over time with bash ream claw and lighting strike then a DW or guardian as well it just depends as to how its built.
The scorp has the lowest of the mag and phy def though but it has the higest eva and dmg per actual hit due to the DW and guardian have slightly faster attack rate you actually dont have a fast enough actual attack increase to noticably make it much different.
The scorp is for pure DD and pvp oriented dmg as to that but isnt an actual tank pet but it does due to its higher dmg potential at 100 have higher dmg when given the right skills even if you give the DW and guardian the same skills their higher att rate isn't high enough to create a difference.
Due to it isnt high enough to get the effect of one more hit rather it would be about 10-15 hits to get 1 extra timewise if not more by that time the scorp has alrdy done over 3-4 hit worth of extra dmg just a bit of info on that one its why I perfer scorp to the others and sawfly is still the best it may have an annoying sound effect if so just turn it off under the UI interface as for water I recommend the lvl5 turtle if you have the patience to lvl it, if not get whatever you want as you lvl up.

um y in the hell would u put FOUR attack skills on a pet? your'e going to want tough at least in case it gets ganged up on. and personally i like roar on everything for fast aggro in case i hit too hard, or get ganged up on and i dont' have to wait for it to actuallyl HIT the extra mob. Plus both my guardian and Wanderer have howl, to help casters DD more. But that's me... idk.... They're DD'ers... in other words pets for extra Dmg when i'm not tanking. Hence Howl (since i have ironwood for physical). And before u ask, i have both cause wanderes big on Physical defense and Guardian's big on magical, for AOE's on thing's i'm not tanking with the walker.

And turn the effects off if the bee's too annoying? lol then u can't hear ANYTHING, like a mob hitting you if you turn to the tv for a sec for instance.

I don't think i'll go for herc or nix as my barb could kill a veno with her herc and nix and i don't like the fat herc b:surrender although the nix looks hawt b:dirty
