In my opinion:
Most independent - veno (for all of game) / sin (at end game only)
Most needed by groups - cleric or barb
Most over-powered - sin (at end game)
All classes have a balance of pros and cons so I would just try out whatever appeals to you. Besides, you can always create alternative characters to play...most people do.0 -
Personally, based on the description you gave, I'd go Seeker. BM and Sin are kinda boring.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Thank you for all ur help0
-
why are sin and bm boring btw?0
-
Most melee characters are. My barb was super boring till the 60's when I could start really pulling groups and AoE'ing the **** out of stuff. With BM's and sins, it's mostly just debuff and auto-attack. At least with Seekers there are a nice selection of AoE skills, and interesting chains to work for while you're fighting. (truly though half the time the mobs don't live long enough for my seeker to get a good chain off =P.)
Seekers are also becoming much more desired in groups because of their wide range of debuffs, and their ability to tank nearly as well as a barb. Not to mention it's a melee class that does near arcane level damage.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Seeker(slower) or sin(faster), if you are looking towards melee types.
Veno or Mystic, if you enjoy more of a support role.
Each class as stated earlier has its many positive points, try them out you might be surprised with your decision.0 -
If you want a melee char that are welcome in party It's WB, they can lose their role latter on, but everyone want a tanker at the lower levels.
But you will gain in the lotery if you pick a Cleric, there are so few in those days.0 -

I actually like being a Sin, but I agree, from what you describe you would like Seeker.0 -

Well you're a crankybutt. .__. I'm willing to bet that all servers are pretty much the same. Archosaur was CS influenced from the start, I have no doubt that the European servers are too. Anyways, time zones of servers influence TW times and server population, so that needs to be taken into account, especially for a first time player.
To the OP, do you want a PvP or PvE server? Once you decide within that, choose one that suits your time zone (Lost City is the west coast PvP server, for example). The two newest servers are European timezone servers.0 -
Do seekers really solo better than sins and BMs? Sins never have to ask anyone for bloodpaint and BMs have a healing skill.AKA PermaSpark, Heartshatter0

Lol crankybutt? That's new to me, what It means? xD I put a "I belive" in the end of my post lol.
BM have a better time equiping theirselves I think, since they equips are cheaper.0 -

Out of curiosity, how are BMs' equips cheaper? Both classes wear HA, and swords are usually cheaper than claws, plus BMs also use up to date axes if they know what they're doing. b:shocked0 -
Hum... I was talking about BMs and Sins, because he was asking about Sins this time, see:Do seekers really solo better than sins and BMs? Sins never have to ask anyone for bloodpaint and BMs have a healing skill.
Since most of the BMs go with Claws for endgame weapon, he only need to have a Axe for debuff. I have a friend that like to use all the weapons so yea, in this case It's a pain for make everything.0 -

On your server select screen on the game itself when you're logging in you can see what timezone each server is and if it's PvP/PvE. (: Use that to select which you'd like.0 -
Hey Op, you are also allowed to multiclient. Get 2 accounts and level two characters simultaneously. For the quests above level 20 when everyone goes to Archosaur, multiclienting would make the quests easier, also you could use one as a shop while you play with the other......
Also when the time comes watch prices before you by anything, theres lots of scammers around....
Oh, and before you ask, you can use drops and npc stuff for gear and weapons until you hit 60. Then you might start buying tt or other mold gears.....0 -
to be honest im not sure i care about the time zone i just wanna talk to people who speak english to be honest lol so far ive just met peep that dont speak it where am i gonna find more english speaking people?0

If you're on a US server, that probably has more to do with the time that you are playing. If America is sleepin, Europe is usually awake =P the time that you posted that was 4:22am Pacific. So it could just be when you are playing.
I know I was asleep b:chuckle
Keep looking and you'll find your niche.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
