    2. If your e-mail password is the same change it too.
    3. Set a bank safe code.
    4. Submit a ticket.

First off do you change your password often, and make it encrypted with uppercase and uppercase letters with a mix of numbers? Never spell words and never use the same password for anything else. Secondly, do you go to other unknown PWI gaming websites? Such as websites that have downloadable macro programs, or game hacks, gold buying, etc? You don't have to admit you do, but if you did, there is always a possibility that you inadvertently installed something malicious. Not saying that is what happened, but it is a possibility. As for the items missing, doubtful there is anything they can do, but good luck nonetheless.

If your BM was a relatively new character, and low level, you may have been using the gear that is awarded to you for staying logged on for a certain amount of time when you first start a char. That gear has a time limit so it would disappear after a while, leaving you naked. Same goes for supply stash weapons.

no offense but at lvl 102 what gear is there to take? Most of it should be bound from the 1st time you equip it.b:shutup

actually.. it isn't totally implausible. i saw a thread on here somewhere showing how u get to 100 in a week or something..... that gear lasts how long? a month? 20 days? i forget lol not to mention he could've glitched.

Side note i also saw a thread someone was saying a GM got on their glitched toon and destroyed all their gear. LOL

Half the posts in this thread are totally worthless and aren't helping the OP but instead you guys are bashing the OP cause you want to look smart.

    yeah anyway

GM's can replace gear, I've seen a guy who got scammed 40mil buying a lvl 50 NPC weapon because they looked like Deicide +10 Claws (apparently the scammer used some glitch, the guy wasn't just being stupid and not checking).

He got those claws, same refine, same shards.

They only replace gear in extreme situations, they will not give back gear to those whose accounts were ****.

If thats not an extreme situation, what the hell is?

God, sometimes you really gotta wonder if PWE have an "employ everyone that cant get employed anywhere else!" policy or something. Workers are frikkin stupid.

Extreme situation is probably when a re tarded cser gets "****" they don`t give a damn about f2p players lol, since f2p players are not their customers but "freeloaders", everything is about money, if you spend money you can get away with anything here it seems, *looks at goonies*

I can imagine what would be an extreme situation if hacking isn't one...

Sad that we came to this but, almost all of the recent hacks reported - upon investigation - seem to be due to someone sharing their account information or not having good enough security on their computer (i.e. no anti virus, no regular scans etc). In that case it is the person's fault that their account was compromised by someone else - and PWE will not replace their gear whether they are a paying customer or not.

An extreme case is if someone accidentally sold their hard earned gear to an NPC, or if they were scammed by a cash shop, and even then, that would be a long process of proving such thing happened.

Wheras any other MMO thats well run would replace it all unless you were proven to have been exceptionally stupid with your account. PWE seems to like tilting to the "Whichever method results in the least work" route huh?

Long process such as... Checking the server log? Wow, such work!

False. They have done it multiple times. For example, a good friend of mine was **** and she got the gear back that wasn't already sold and the money from what was sold.

Yep my friend got **** a year or so ago, gear gone, money gone. His account was suspended for around a week, when they gave it back, he had all his original gear, all his money, and even told the IP from where this hacker come from was perma banned.

Friend of mine was also ****...this was confirmed by a GM that came to see him in game who also said all his items would be traced and to give them a week. Guess what he waits a week nothing....mails them....NOTHING we even sent in screenshots/AH numbers of all the stuff being sold in wc etc and still NOTHING. Friend was left with no gear on more than one toon after he spent a very long time getting some extremely nice gears and still havent had the Items Traced as promised by a GM after hmm 3 months.

I'm assuming it depends on the GM that responds to you. Some will turn you down, others will help. But it is still false that GMs will never help a **** person. And honestly, this game will clearly go to the dumps if they really don't compensate **** people. The only thing a player can help is if they share their account info - totally understandable. My issue is that a virus cannot be helped and on a shared computer, people may not know how to virus scan or they need to renew it.

funny... how much extreme must the sitiuation get? that actually would make GMs do ANYTHING??

    atomic explosion?

    world ending?
Long process such as... Checking the server log? Wow, such work!

oh oh oh... yea open log and use strg+F as search function for a specific item name ... damn that must be really HUGE work, ...

why dont we have AI as GMs? b:cry it would be smarter for sure >_>
