I Need GM Help.

When i first started the game i didnt realise what the safety lock was and i changed it to 24 hours, The problems is that im never on for that long and i need help turning it back to 1 minute so i can start quests again because i can't drop items to make room for new ones and my bank is full :L PLEASE HELP ME!!!

    I created a new character on the server Dreamweaver but the same problem, The safety is still on and its hard to do anything, Can a GM please change it to 1 minute? so i can get back to playing PWI properly?

    you dont need GM help... you need a brain

    just change it to 1min, wait a day till it gets back
    Some Rules each PWI Gamer should know
    1. Dont break this rules & no matter what: DONT TRUST ANYONE!
    2. Dont pay wine or heads fee (like to get kicked after that?) b:chuckle
    3. Dont borrow items (since when return gms scammed stuff?) b:embarrass
    4. Dont use your password in faction-forums (like hacks?) b:fatb
    5. Dont give your mats to the tt-banker (obvious, not?) b:beg
    6. Dont wait for help, or heals, or any other miracles,... (for more examples just play pwi and you will hate the whole humanity) b:bye

    But i cant get on long enough so that im logged in for a day, Im only allowed 6 hours a day to play the computer :L

    1) Change safety lock to 1 minute
    2) Do not make any more changes to your safety lock for the next 72 hours (3 days), as doing so will restart the 3 day timer before the change takes effect.
    3) After 3 days, your safety lock will have the desired setting. (You do not need to stay logged in for this change to take effect.)
    4) GMs can not speed up the change for you.

    ok heres how to fix it go ahead and change it in the menu to one min or your desired amount of time then all you need do is wait three days do not mess with it untill after three days time because everytime you do it will reset the three day wait period this period does not require you to be logged in to pass the safty lock will effect every char on your account
    @ amencat dont be mean to people who need help if you have no interest in helping this person be gone and bother him not you yourself do not seem to be too bright of a individual

    once to go to change it, it takes a full 72 hours to revert. If you touch it at any time during that period, the 72 hour timer starts over.

    For the OP, learn to read the warning dialogue boxes. It's very clear.

    Then whats the timer countdown for 24 hours for atm i have it at 13:59 left?

    Thats for the safety lock to turn off while your in-game, since you put it for 24 hours it takes 24 hours for it to turn off when your in-game so you can do stuff like send mail, check bank, AH, etc. Don't mess with it if you changed it though or the timer will reset.

    So set it to 1 minute wait 24 hours online then leave it logged in for 3 days for it to change back?

    Just change it to 1 minute, then don't touch it anymore. You can log in and log off just fine. Nothing will change ;)
    After 3 days it will be back on 1 minute.

    I changed it to 1 minute the logged off and when i logged back on it says that the current setting is 24 hours? Why doesnt it just say 1 minute?

    Because it won't say one minute until AFTER the three days (72 hours) that it takes to reset.

    Every time you touch it, the countdown starts over. Just stop playing for 3 days and next time learn to read.

    so..... u admit u know NOTHING about this since u dont' care and don't use it, and were WRONG, while at the same time tellign somone who neeeded help to get a brain?

    why? cause the thing was confusing him? NOWHERE on the saftey lock window does it say u have to wait three days and not touch it for the timer to change. I just looked.

    The only thing annoying is the failure of the user to read the warnings and then later complain that they weren't warned, or that they didn't understand.

    As you can see from the text that appears when you set the safety lock to 24 hours, It says it will take you 3 days to change it back. Not to mention that they get you coming and going with the message.

    lol well most people wouldn't wanna **** around with it to see if anything pops up actually explaining this ****. it should say it on the FIRST window where u set the damn thing..... kinda figure that's what the OP's problem was, not wanting to mess with it more b4 finding out...

    Then again since he already messed with it you'd think he would've read that b:surrender

    Well i set it 3 days ago and it is due to end during the server relog, Will that affect it or should it be fine? and what if it doesnt go to 1 minute like i changed it to 3 days ago? i havent touched it since. Starting to get really difficult to train and level when i can't hold anything in my inventory.
