Quiz Event this Weekend [11-10-2011]

At least this time it's actually announced. The past several events haven't been. Super annoying.

Oh well, that's pretty nice for the people who are lazy to get in FC squads... like me.

It's based on server time, so if you are playing on a server near you it would be reasonable. If you decided to play on a server on the other side of the planet then that's your problem not theirs.

Edit: I think this should of also appeared in the news, talking to people in game makes me realize there are MANY who did not know about the event.

I may live on the east coast, and play on an east coast server but I work nights. In fact, I start my shift at 6pm. -.-

I forget exactly how it works but your IP is registered, much like the Snake Isle Race can only be taken once/day even if you have two separate accounts. I'm sure someone will clarify this :P & if this is not your issue at least it's one more possibility eliminated.

You know.. i knew about this, and this is 2 days in a row I forgot about it... and remembered like 10 minutes after it ENDED....... and i just ran into 5 people in like 5 secs thta got on too late. FRANKIE is there some reason u twits think the entire server can log on in a HALF HOUR TIME FRAME?

Here's a bright idea for ya..... make this last all day and we can only do one round of 15 questions a day. O ya and one person i talked to lagged out from almost everyone logged on being in one spot. SO if we had alll day to get to the npc.... it'd solve that problem too..... hiding peopel in proxy visuals dont' help when your'e on TOP of them. d'oh

Also, I figured out my problem. Apparently, the Quiz Event can be done on multiple toons on the same account IF they are not in the same 10 digit level range.

Example: My Seeker is 52 and my Wizard is 58. They are both on the same account. I can do the Quiz Event on one of them, but not both. My 42 Psychic, also on the same account, can do the Quiz Event without stopping the other two from doing it.

Yep it's always been that way. When you hit the 90s levels it is more than ten levels - seems to go 90-105. My level 90 wiz and my 101 archer cannot both do the quiz.

As to the people saying it should be longer than a half hour, I completely agree. I missed it the first day by one minute because I was stuck in a BH and couldn't get out on time. Half an hour is a ridiculous amount of time, crowding people in like crazy and causing lots of people to crash... just make the NPCs there all day; there are already limits on taking it once per alt per level range so that would change nothing. Otherwise, extend it to two hours at least to give everyone a chance and reduce the lag.
