Ok re blue-name pickup drops pk issue

Make it so the killer is the only one who can take an item in pk please ;o
Was in a 1v1 and killed the guy and he dropped his Deicide claws (expensive @_@)
I usually get drops and return them but some random noob we didnt catch the name of got his claws and left ;o

-i was imobolized for a sec after duel and cudnt get the drops (i was distant because im an archer)

-i didnt want the drops we were having firendly 1v1 not fighting cuz we were mad or anything

-the blue name got it almost instantly and logged

Yes they could use drop protection, but theyre sl or watever must have ended during the fight without them noticing. their fault... yes. should the blue name be ABLE to get the drop...no. I think killer should have ability to get drop for 30secs before others. So, they can return (most cases) or they just pk for drops (*cough cough* angels sin *cough*). The current system is unfair that a nobody can steal someone elses valuables with NO work.

    I didn't pk alot, but i returned stuff to ppl that drops them..And lol yeah i totally agree with u on that. :)

    i dont think the safety lock will stop a pk players drops from leaving his/hers inventory. imo, if u dont wanna lose ur gears, bind the damn things so u dont drop something expensive an quit QQing. its his/hers fualt, let them deal with it

    You and the person you fought went white named on a PvE server.....

    Suffer from your own mistakes? Seriously you coulda just dueled each other instead of going white named.


    Though the fact that a blue name got the drop means you where probably around west, SP, silver pool, or another hot spot....which no ****ing duh a blue name is gonna run around waiting for drops.

    I really don't agree at all. Someone who can't pvp shouldn't be able to get pvp drops, period. It doesn't matter where or who.

    You both went PK mode on a PvE server. This is a risk you take. There's other options you both could have taken to prevent drops at all. Safety Lock, Guardian Scroll, Binding, or just duelled.

    I have blue name alts, but no drop alts :o


    I never saw a use for them as almost nobody I have ever seen drops items :/ (then again i've dropped everything from NPC bow to crab meat to tomes, but meh takes like me 1 frost sell and I got another one to replace it xD).

    As for why I seem to defend them...probably just the way I word my posts. I don't necassirely "like" the idea behind PvP drops, but then again I truthfully don't care enough to be bothered with claiming a side to the arguement as most people who ***** about it are idiot's who either don't carry dolls, or have safety lock (SL) on, or don't bother to protect themselves.

    regardless of gear protections... why not have it so only killer can get drops?

    Seems simple and will solve many problems ;o

    I made a simmilar thread to this everyone who replied to it made it seems that i was complaining about losing drops lol..

    It's been a problem for a long time, and not just on PvE servers.

    They should make it like mob drops where no one else can pick it up for 30 seconds. Person credited for the kill would be who dealt the most damage, not the killing blow.

    Too bad the Dev's are total goobs and we'll never see any fix implemented.

    The devs can't write their way way out of a paper bag, you expect them to implement code that is logical where the killer of a player is the only one who can pick it up? Or maybe they are just too lazy/blind to change the code to reflect that of mob drops. Don't expect them to do anything that benefits you how long have you been playing this game?

    Has it ever occured to you that some of those blue newbs, are actually alt chari's and accounts, for other Pk's who just just suck at PK, and so they hang around stealing whatever they can, since they couldn't win it in PK anyways.....b:chuckle

    Though I'm sure some are truly newbs, the other section of Vultures that hang in the Pk zones, show way too much knowledge on when the (drop timer) releases~So that anyone can nab the drops... And I've witnessed some of those blues, working in conjunction with other (White's, Pinks & Reds) "Who stun or (Attack/Distract) the victor" just long enough, for their little blue tagalongs to go snatch the bounty....b:tired

    It's sad that some of them pull that ****, but there does seem to be alot of them doing it nowadays.......b:bye

    off topic discussion: wouldn't it be cool if you are pk'ing and kill your enemy and win 5% of there exp now that would be something to pk about.

    but yes totally agree, blue names shouldn't be able to pick up other's pk drops, period.

    I used to watch at PK zones...

    Don't know anyone who does PK anymore, and none of my gear is bound (I can't bind my daggers on my Sin anyway), so it's a non-issue for me.

    Only time I ever grabbed a PK drop was when someone in squad got PKed and dropped, and the boss that he was tanking killed the PKer b:chuckle so I grabbed the belt he dropped until he could run back in.
