r8 boots / bracers = 20m ? wtf

seriously theres something wrong with this i know it is new gear and all but really ?

200 wedding candies = 20m for boots and another 200 candies for wrists

whereas the rest of the set is like 1m for armor/legs and 2m for weapon

whats wrong with u guys ? after spending a tonne<earned gold> to get to r8 we gotta spend even more to get boots what are 20 times more expensive than the armor or legs

and yes i know its 20m 1st time and 1m after that

but why ? cant we just stick to the 1m per armor ?

    It's not exactly new. Tideborns and Earthguards had always been able to obtain their bracers and boots for 200 wedding candies when they were available way before this recast system.

    That's still cheaper than tt99 boots and wrists.

    b:shocked its that much on sanc happy i dont play there on lost its 9mil for wrist and 15 for boots. actually i would love those prices from sanc makes my hh runs alot more profitable wrist gold 4-4.5mil each and boots 6-7.5mil if your patient here you can get boots and wrist for less then 20mil total

    Not really. ~32 mil for chipping the gold mats, another maybe 2-4 mil worth of Green mats (36mil max) and with the Nirvana Talisman, ultis are pretty much worthless. . .

    Plus, TT 99 can be shared between characters, has that nice set bonus, and doesn't have a 200k rep cost. Rather stupid that is has a one time 20mil cost, should just make all boots/bracers the same cost as the rest of the armour.

    The funny thing here is that the people complaining the most are ones who had at least one eye to recasting, or at least that's what I'm guessing, since the r8 boots/bracers are sorta craptastic anyway.

    You think 20 mil is a lot? Wait till you see how much recasting to get decent adds is going to cost.

    TT99 boots and bracers are still a better choice for most people, their adds are more useful and they have set bonuses already without recasting. The small difference in base resistance is negligible.

    he prolly meant 200 for both other wise 5k a token i would so buy those out 200 candy is 4k tokens for 20mil is 5k each pretty sure alot off us wont mind but he prolly means for both so its still 100 each

    Actually the TT99 wrists come out to about 14m at most, 11m if you can farm the other mats.

    Sanctuary server bases gold mat prices off the cost of making them with chips.

    It's added content in a F2P. Compagny logic is cash of course. Logic that is acceptable initially for players is that TB and EG had the exclusivity on those wrist/boots, while the rest had to get TT99 for more coins, at least on my server(I always standed by that logic). New logic for players is to not **** around with those who already had them previously (which may or may not apply if we consider rank sale......). Are you really that surprised? We are talking about pwi here. b:chuckle

    it would be 10x more if you want to compare it to weapon and 10x more if you want to compare it to legs/plate. Considering all of them cost 72 gold to start off with it's more like 10% more.
