I agree; Seeker girls are pretty. I would've made one and leveled it if I hadn't already learned a ton of sage skills.

Anyway, any Seeker who uses vortex as their only AoE in PvE probably isn't very smart. We're not considered an AoE DD class because of vortex alone.

Alpha Male resets all aggro levels and gives you some extra, but that also means that any buffer aggro level that has been built between the others is reset back down. So in some situations it can cause problems, ex: the wiz/psy has been holding back to build up an aggro buffer and you reset with Alpha Male just before they let loose a nuke. Furthermore due to its high energy cost it isn't a spammable Genie skill.

It works to instantly bring aggro to the Seeker (or any other Tank) as long as the Seeker (or other Tank) can continue to maintain a high level of aggro, say through Vortex.

Nevertheless, I consider it an essential Seeker Genie skill.

As far as Tanking, so far I am loving the Seeker although I must admit you will probably rely mostly on Vortex to hold aggro on bosses. Which is somewhat of a waste of an AOE skill.

The Seeker can solo/duo Phoenix Valley and level up quite fast using it's AOEs, even pre-lvl 59 (which is when you get Vortex).

For instance, a 10k hp BM can replace a barb in delta.

To get 10k HP, don't you either need 1) High refines or 2) a vit build (IE, no fists)? For midgame and people who aren't gonna glitch/buy heads/otherwise plevel to 101, that seems to be a bit... Difficult to do...

As for tanking lower level stuff at level, you just need to know how to play the game and have a squad that knows how to play their role.

At level a BM would only have trouble tanking a few bosses... Crimson, Mantavip... some of the HH bosses.... though I tanked most of the time as I was leveling up with people my level or below usually and that's back when 99 gold was still a rarity.

BM has always been 'backup tank' anyway. With the speed people level, abundance of high level characters now and availability of good cheap gear (70 green and all the molder gears and cheap shards), it really shouldn't matter much now.

Meh. Pole isn't friendly. And yeah, there's a lot of people nubbing it up lately. >_> BH69 isn't the instance to start learning your cleric, or try to figure out how to play the seeker you just bought off your friend.
