Hey I have a MacBook, and I was wondering if someone or a few peple could help me and tell me how I may go about downloading PWI to my comp. so I may continue playing this wonderful game.
Thanks,

Mac is not for gaming.
You'll just have to put up with Bootcamp or Wine, but it'll probably lag when you run it through that software. (Lag as in FPS lag, not internet lag, just put the graphics quality down)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

ok anyways, if you don't have an aversion to using Boot Camp or Virtual Box etc. that is what i would recommend, because i find that emulators such as CrossOver and Wine can be unstable
Con: you need a "genuine" Windows installation disc to use Boot Camp or a virtualization software
actually, all the above options will cost you money one way or another, with the exception of the pretty non-user friendly Wine
(if you don't know what any of those softwares are Google it)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Duct tape is like The Force: bright on one side, dark on the other. It holds the world together, and, if not handled correctly, becomes a sticky mess.0 -
At least with my computer Virtual Box was too slow to run PWI. I'd recommend WineHQ0

I use Crossover Games with no problems at all. Even updating is easy.0

I use Windows, saves all these issues. b:chuckleI've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
#Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#
If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.0 -
Well, I'm going to be trying Crossover Games!! Wish me luck!!

I don't know much about macs...my only solution to you is to try out a pc. Preferably one with Windows 7 . b:thanks0 -
for downloading use the torrent option and to run it use wine you need some extra dll to make it run the ones are vcrun6 and some filters but you get them by installing IE6 on wine0
