89 skills with Old Book Pages???

This is annoying me to the point I haven't even tried to get 92 skills yet. I can see no other class that gets screwed like this (did I miss it?).

I don't wanna spend 10m to get a 89 skill I already got for 4.5m (tokens>myst pages) and could barely sell for 3m when I got doubles... seems so illogical from a player stand-point, tho I see it makes sense to make player gamble (more books = less probability = more coin) more from PWInc's point of view.

Is this just a 'fail', like the one that made Sage Heart Shatter lv89 but its demon version 92? That's what the description says anyway...

I'm just...annoyed. Please tell me I'm wrong.

    This is from an old post from Knownasa...

    20 Old Book Pages = 1 Skill book

    30 Pages of Fate = 1 Skill book

    30 Advanced Mystical Pages = 1 Skill book

    330 Advanced Mystical Pages = 11 Skill books, with 100% of getting each skill in the list of skills you can get.

    50 Mysterious Pages = 1 Skill book

    20 Apocalypse Pages + 10 Inks = 1 lvl 79 Skill book

    20 Chrono Pages + 10 Inks = 1 lvll 100 Skill book



    Note that each skill book will randomly give a skill, except Apoc, Chrono, and the skill book set given with 330 Adv. Mystical Pages.

    In summary, you need around 50 gold (or 49,500,000 coins) to buy enough Tokens of Luck for all the skill books in one shot. (For sins, various per class)

    Lv 89 Skills with Mystical Pages (from PWI Boutique Agent):

    -Northern Sky
    -Heart Shatter
    -Battousai
    -Adrenal Numbness
    -Blade Affinity
    -Ion Spike
    -Rock Splitting Cleave


    Lv 92/89 Skills with Old Book Pages (from Nature Forge: Skills):

    -Ion Spike
    -Blade Affinty
    -Adrenal Numbness
    -Mind Shatter
    -Parchblade
    -Darkcloud Bolt
    -Voidstep
    -Blade and Sword Mastery
    -Battousai

    See what I mean? No other class can get 89 skills along with 92 ones.


    For Seeker 99 skills, unlike what the Mystical Librarian says, you need 210 Advanced Mystical pages.

    I wanna see you rage when you see the price on some of the Drop Only skill books. Demon Bell currently sells for 1/4 of a Pan Gu, Creator (100 mil for Demon Bell, 400ish mil for Pan Gu).

    The ones he is talking about, as far as I know, should be drop skills like the other classes. Either exclusive to drop, or on top of this.
    As far as I am aware of, EG skills were never added to Hellfire or Peaches droptables where they should have been.

    Well, on mystics Old Book Pages have a chance of yielding a LOT of 89/99 skills too... Only 4 of the 9 skillbooks that come from OBP's are 92 skills... and I've had terrible luck getting 92 skills from them. Of the 4 times I've tried I've gotten only one, the rest were all 4-5 mil 89/99 skillbooks... so its not just Seekers. :(

    They really did a number on the EG books.

    I feel for any seeker or mystic trying to get decent level 11 skills.

    As much as they obviously love assassins, they obviously hate the Earthguard.

    I wanna know where the hell your getting these prices for our server? Demon bell is 25-30m and Pan Gu you can get for less than 300m, more like 260m....

    I heard from someone who was looking for a PC on Sage Ion Spike that they got it from FB99, I would assume Abaddon. Can't confirm this, but no reason to doubt it either.


    I would probably rage if I had to shell out 100m for a mastery (tho on HT they're about 30-40m or less)... or slip into a resignation induced state of apathy. Just felt the need to vent about this wrench thrown in my bike's front wheel while I'm speeding along...
