Whats happening to Regicide???

If You're like me in Vindicate and enthusiastic about going up against Regicide i was surely expecting a 3 hour long battle instead last week we won in 13 mins and yesterday in only 8 minutes

Now that doesn't make sense to me if Regi doesnt get organized again surely vindicate will take over the whole map like seriously 8 minute TW against regi .....

weve lost all the fun from TW b:cryb:cry

    pls dont talk as if its easy to take over the whole map... we dont have enough strength to double defend just yet..

    when u think about it, regi doesn't have the strength yet to take on the full force of vindi, but who knows maybe some time soon they will, just lets wait and see what happens ey b:victory
    But TBH idc what what vindi do to regi, as long as they don't attack Enelysion xD b:laugh

    Taking over the whole map is never one of Vindicate's goal. If that's what you hope to achieve, you will be disappointed.

    I don't think being rusty is even a valid excuse anymore; we've had a number of 3 hour TWs since the map reset about half a year ago with ample time to practice strategy and coordination. It's pretty heavily based on gear and numbers really; we could barely get 66 sign ups on Sunday night. Even with the best tactics you can't really do much against brute force, we only lasted 1-2 pushes up middle.

    We can put up an even fight against Leg and could apply tactics there, but we're still no match against the sheer force of Vindi. I can say we aren't afraid to try or lose though.

    I don't think you can put this all on gear. If I do recall, all but one or two of vindi pushes were middle pushes. Since vindi just runs by everyone, this makes a domino effect back to the base. So after four weeks and the same tactic is used each tw, can we still call that gear? I know from real life I learn from my mistakes.

    Even 80 v 80, the gear difference isn't that big between Regicide and Vindicate.

    Where is Asterelle or Kerona at, I want a tally of R9's in each faction~

    Gear difference maybe, class difference yes.

    If we were to compare Regi and LG, our faction is like the exact opposite of LG; we're full of BM cleric Barb and lack wizards/archers, whereas they're full of Archer/DD and lack barbs/bms. But it kinda cancels out as we're like opposites.

    LG is probably more suited for defending, we're probably more suited for attacking, so I would assume the odds aren't in our favor when we have to defend 8 cats.

    Vindi is pretty well rounded and strong in every branch, so they will usually crush either LG or Regi in either case.

    Regi has some awesome arcane dd, but yeah. Definitely don't have the wizard numbers like LG.

    What you say is true, we have a couple heavy wizards, but less than LG, we have a lot of heavies though so that's what makes us kind of balanced against LG.

    If we were to rank Regi, LG , Vindi on a scale of 1-5 for specific roles with 5 being the best it might look like this:

    Vindi:

    Offense (Cat Barb BM Cleric) - 5

    Support (Archers/other supporting DD) - 5

    Defense (Wizards/Psychics/Venoes) - 4

    LG:

    Offense (Cat Barb BM Cleric) - 3

    Support (Archers/other supporting DD) - 5

    Defense (Wizards/Psychics/Venoes) - 5

    Regi:

    Offense (Cat Barb BM Cleric) - 5

    Support (Archers/other supporting DD) - 4

    Defense (Wizards/Psychics/Venoes) - 3

    Looks about right.

    With some flexibility, practice, and a little bit of luck I think any of those set ups could be winning set ups though. If you know your weak spots and your strong points, you can hopefully be flexible enough to adapt to different situations.

    Its sorta hard to adapt when your weakness is lack of good cata barbs for tw

    LG has/had good cata barbs, they just prefer to play other classes :P

    Bah yeah LG needs to bef up it's offense a bit b:surrender feel partly to blame QQ. b:victory to our 10 wizzys and psy that end up in TW makes us uber on the wizzy side b:chuckle

    Haha yeah, indeed, our offense is kinda low but i gotta admit we ehave a very nice defense coordination, although i haven't been in LG long enough, even i can say it.
    LOVED the 3 hour TW we had won against regicide defending, so that's another clue of our defense

    I can attest to Regi's abundance of BMs and Clerics, lol.

    Can remember like 4 Vana BMs running up on me and stun locking me into oblivion. I was cackling on vent. xD
