New player with some questions

Yo,

I'm new to this game and wondering what's a good class to start with. And if there's any class I should absolutely avoid.
Also, how bad is the grinding is the game?

Also what happens if I die in the game?

    It's really up to you whether you like a class or not, could you tell me what you prefer? Magic, Physical? PvE, PvP or both? Etc.
    And I don't think grinding is that bad in the game, I hear people complaining about the exp rate being too low, but I love how the exp rate is in Perfect World. When you know how to play the game, you can level a character from 1-20 in 1-2 days.
    And if you die in the game because of a mob (monster) you only lose abit experience. In the beginning it's 2%, if I'm not mistaken, but if you find a Cleric with a high lvl Revive it is less than that.
    If you die in PK with a red name, you can also lose stuff, I think. Not sure about all those PvP stuff, I hate it. ;p
