What do you do if your guildie is being attacked by a friend of yours (from another guild). Do you jump in or do you... what?

Hurm.....Currently I have to step in and tell the friend to either back off, or he's gonna die in around 1.5 seconds.

Mainly because I usually squad with sin's (damn popular **** class >_>)...so yeah two aps on a single aps = two aps win. Add in the fact that I squad with good sins 99% of the time, the friend would be in a perma stunlock until either he died or the sin and me ran outta chi....which for a sin to do is near impossible.
Nothing worthwhile to mention here, enjoy the animated signature~

    Kill everyone.

No really do it, so much more fun than dealing with drama
Gifs are hard to make work here

Well the other day me and a person in my guild was out farming and one of my friends came along and pked them.

The guildie I did not know well, but my friend - yes.

This is just complicated. I have to protect my guildie but don't like pking an old time friend.

Edit: This is actually the 2nd time in two months this happened and last time I DID pk my friend and he took me off his FL. (I did tell him I had no choice since my guildie was lower and doing his best to hang in there and not die.).

I PKd my friend once in that situation and he removed me from my FL, so since then I've just started to sit and watch.

Lol, wow. IMO, if a friend can't handle the fact that you're defending guildies, then he's too much of a serious and easily butthurt player - you don't need friends like that.

did something like that to a mage friend of mine. he was out looking for pvp so i decided a 1v1 would be fun adn killed him. apparantly its taboo for a friend to attack a friend so he attacked me from that day forth usually losing. so sad he quit though

Then I'll start PKing both for fun. I have to agree with you as well, now that I think about it.

Reminds me of the time one of my good cleric friends deleted me and attempted to kill me multiple times after accusing me of purposely focusing and killing her.. Because she got killed by my edged blur when I was luring a Sin out of stealth.

    "it wasn't just one aoe"

    *facepalm..*

I didn't even bother trying to keep the friendship at that point, for too many reasons.

If the fight is fair, I supervise the fight. If unfair, I make it fair by either getting on an alt that will make it even, or just stun lock. If jumping in with my bm makes it fair, I do that as well. I believe in fair fights, not sensless ones.

I cant speak for a pvp server but on mine if i see a guildie being attacked by a friend i either
1:Tell the friend stop or i will kill him
    2: Kill him without warning
3:Tell the guildie that the person pking him is a close friend
Or my favourite is to drop both of them with an armageddon so neither of them can complain or if they do complain use the old "i thought fac protect was on" or "i thought you could take my arma bro sorry i forgot" b:chuckle
