Soporific Whisper Issue

Yesterday I spent quite a long time PvPing (I just got back on my wizard, after a break caused by it being impossible to level.) and had trouble getting Soporific Whisper to fire.

I tend to click my skills (Aside whatever base combo im using for PvE at the time, I.E 123 are Gush SS Stone Rain) and was wondering if thats that cause (Shadow Jump on my Sin tends not to work either.) or if having a ping averaging 300 is just too much for an "instant" skill to work properly.

    I'ts the red, While I lived in the states, using Sophoric always seemed easier and quicker Since I moved to Europe and have never seen my ping go under 400 I've noticed the latency in sophoric, (usually gets me killed too)

    Well that kinda sucks then.

    Awesome skill made loads less awesome just cos im british. Games a hater b:sad

    I live in Europe too, 300-600 ping average, and I got no issues with it at all. Maybe you are just too far away? Whisper only got a 20 meter range, much less than your other skills, wich are 28-30 meters.

    ~~~we need an europe pvp server, id love having ping below 100

    British based would be ideal since everyone and their moms can talk engriish



    but on the other hand this wouldnt change the stupid imbalance the game has
    like everyone would start a sin first and the rest is fked :p



    ive been "pking" when i had 10k ping, all i could do was ninja black ice dragon groups and then die

    Im talking of things right up in my face - range. I dont try using it on things that are any distance away usually cos theyre not a threat.

    I hit sleep and nothing happens about 1/3 of the time. And no, im not stunned/sealed before you suggest it.

    It just seems to hate me, kinda like how distance shrink likes to port me backwards occasionally b:surrender (Much less problematic, noone predicts that lol).

    Since im on about it, I may as well add that ive infrequently used sutra and started casting a spell before its actually aplied itself. Meaning I use my chi and waste half of it on channelling a spell, wether I realise and cancel or not.

    Ok, I understand what you mean. Like I said, it never fails for me. There is the usual delay, but the only time skills fail is when I have 1k+ ping. Maybe you got a lag spike?

    I get the sutra thing every once in a while tho. And blinking backwards, that only happens at 1k+ ping as well.

    Its definitely not lag, unless I get an unnoticeable spike 1/3 times I use an insta skill that only lasts while I try to use it, which would be ****ing wierd. Lol.

    Eh, il just deal with it. I can survive without it, I dont have the chanelling to drop a 2spark after anyway so im non too fussed about offensive use.

    blinking backwards isnt lag
    if u hit back just before u blink u go in reverse
    it works sideways also

    Actually hanky you can blink the wrong direction due to lag. happens to me often enough.


    running after someone they turn around, you run away and click blink. idk what my ping is when it happens but it will port me fwd past them. usually only occurs when im really laggy though

    I live in Costa Rica and my average is 150 to 450 ping and usualy never have broblems with any skills unless connections goes down or something.

    I usually hot key my skills but I've noticed for a few of the stuff I click e.g apoth, if my genie is too close to the apoth, then i can't click the pot. dunno if it may be the same prob

    That happens to me all the time. Once, it ported me backwards into hands in TT as they exploded. That sucked. :B

    It just occurred to me, is your genie in the way? They seem to have an invisible block around them that, if over skills, will block them from being clicked on because the game thinks you're clicking the genie bar.

    this is actually something i only figured out after being frustrated about my sleep skill not working properly for over 2 months.

    Every genie has a block of 2x4 skills that are not visible untill you fill em up, but they prevent from clicking there too.

    So if your genie is close to your skill bar, move it away so that there is PLENTY of room between them, and then try again
