Are the Facebook blessings a permanent feature of the game?

Will the facebook blessings always be available? I see people giving build and gear advice based on having them and wonder what happens if it stops. Examples:

Telling an archer to add vit and make up for the lost attack with the Jones Blessing

Countless examples of ppl advising to add defense levels to their armor because it stacks with the defense levels of O'Malleys Blessing.


What if someone takes this advice and the blessings stop coming?

    There are no plans to remove the facebook blessings, but honestly I can't promise that they will be available forever.

    Still, they are very popular and I don't see why we would ever take them out.

    i see a reason to take them out, couse in my oppionion is ruins PvP entirely

    How does it ruin pvp xD everyone has a blessing so it makes you all even faillllllllllllll

    fair? here are a few scenarios

    sin with chill of the deep + jones blessing 1 shotting arcanes from stealth,
    Psy with omaily blessing heavenly buffed in combination with self buffs

    30 attack level, and that at 5.00 aps, also game breaking. especially sins. that 150-300 damage they do more per hit, count that times 5.

    my point is, the blessings are more usefull for certain classes,,, of cource they help everyone, but in particular the tideborns.

    imo def/att level should be onely obtainable treu gear and shards.

    technically the blessings are gear... and technically even without the facebook blessings you can still get attack and defense level blessings in the game for very little effort. The only difference is that these in game blessings only last about 15 to 30 minutes and are obtainable only once per day. But they offer the same sorts of bonuses that the O'malley and jones's blessings offer and there is even one that offers +30 Defense Levels to boot.

    Because if not for jones, AAs could totally own sins.

    As you mentioned they affect aps, so BMs find them very useful especially since their window to kill things is smaller than a sins and they need to deal all the damage they can before their stuns wear out.
    Then there's wizards who live on dph, and that's exactly what jones raise.

    Says the seeker. I suppose you believe seekers shouldn't have those att/def lvl buffs then?

    Seems he's mad his def level buff = nothing if his opponent has jones on.

    then get O'malley's instead of Jones and get 15 att & 15 def My baby seeker rocks for pve with o'malley's blessing

    nope im not mad, here is my main,

    i never liked the free give away of the blessings, it helps aps more then DPH.

    your sorta right, its pretty ***** up if your own self buff as a seeker is being bypassed treu a free survey.

    but i disliked the blessings pre-EG

    i still think both blessings favor the TB classes more.

    and yes, i honestly think that AA even if its justa little, stand a little bit more chance vs sins whitout these things.

    attack and defence levels are rare and expencive on gear, they should keep it that way imo

    They are supposedly a permanent feature in the game...that is as long as the Jones Blessing Facebook page is functional...
