Some questions regarding the assassin

Hi everyone,

I've been playing a Mystic for a while and I enjoy it but after rolling an assassin I seem to enjoy that one a lot too. I just don't know which to use for my main character so I decided to come and ask you guys for advice.

Does an assassin have a good potential to solo in PvE?
Are they easily invited into squads?
Is it easy to make friends or are they really as hated as everyone claims?

I apologize if these have been asked before but I just have zero experience in this game and I would love some advice from more experienced players. Do you recommend a sin for solo PvE/getting into squads easily or perhaps a different class? (Please do not suggest venomancer or male-only classes x_x)

Does an assassin have a good potential to solo in PvE? best Solo Farming Class (provided u gear him well)

Thank you for your reply ^__^ would you say the Assassin has a better solo farming potential than Mystics? Who is more likely to get invited into a dungeon squad: the Assassin or the Mystic?

    Early Farming: Mystic
    Late Game (Say 89+): Sin

Early Instances: Both are equally accepted.
    Late Game Instances: Sin

Later levels Sin(s) may gain more hits per second granting them up to 5 aps. This is done by -Interval stat bonuses which can be acquired at late game with lot of coins. Mixing this with Blood Paint can make a Sin tank in Instances(dungeons). As they heal 2-3% of the there damage per hit.

Like Keliska said, it depends on your level. Endgame farming /dungeons is a assassin paradise. With decent gear , a nice bunch of interval set and of course , practice , sin is one of the first classes people search to add to their squad. (APS gear and Rank 8 are farmable pieces of gear , which means that u can aquire them with no cash shopping but lots of effort. Practice on the other hand isnt, but by the look of your post u seem like a logical person who has the mood to try a bit hard , so thats not a big issue)

Mystics arent bad farmers. They are quite good for FFs TTs and Caster Nirvanas.

If u play with friends , u can also choose according to their choice (since u like both classes). if most of them are APS DDs like Bms/Sins/Archers/barbs and they need a small inch of support, your mystic will be proved invalable for its great healing skills , debuffs and of course nice damage. If u tend to be alone most of the time , the answer to your question is most probably Sin

    Have Fun

    >Sins are the best Solo class in the game.

    >Sins are liked if you aren't a d-bag, like every other class.

    >Uhm, it depends for what on getting invited to squads.

Mystics -> RB, caster nirvana champs, supporting squad

Sins -> Massive DDs Solo enemy, Low amount of AoE's, Fairly amazing tank end game.

Sins are great to have in most instances, but if they don't deal much damage due to fail weapon/armor and can't survive... mystic will easily out do them from the support they add.

Both are completely different, its kinda like how you won't take more than 2 sins in RB but youll take two mystics, but You'll take 2 sins in Metal over two mystics because they bring the boss down fast.

Thank you everyone for your useful feedback ^__^ awesome to see the population of this game is still civilized. I thank you for the compliment, Phoenix_Eye, I usually put an effort into everything I do. I'm not afraid to work for what I need so I think a sin might be a fun character to build.

I was mostly afraid of getting a bad reputation most sins seem to have for some reason or another. How come this class seems to have it worst out of the rest. Lots of sin players whose ego grew just a bit too much? x__x

Sins only become good soloers after lvl 90. They get part of their damage back as health points through the bloodpaint skill. So they need to get their damage up high enough for bloodpaint to make them independent of the need for healing. When they get their damage up that high they can become one man armies in pve. But only after lvl 90 and your going to have to buy some good gear.

People want sins in squads but they're always enough of them around because its the most common class. The tank always wants a sin in squad for bloodpaint. If no sin is available they will often get bloodpaint from a friend before entering the instance. They helps a lot on FC by killing shades, help in a lot of stuff. But under 80 the only reason you would want one is to give bloodpaint to the tank. And before 90 the damage output of sins is nothing special.

People hate sins cuz so many jerks who only want to stealth gank lowbies become sins. The class can be a magnet for idiots. But if your not an idiot you won't have that problem.
