so i got this noob question going on my mind
how does bloodpaint work?; bloodpaint absorbs 2% so that mean u healed by 2%
& the faster u attack the faster u get healed?? xD

    Bloodpaint heals 2% of damage dealt

    Deal 1000 per second you heal 20 hp
    Deal 1000 5 times per second you heal 100 hp.

    So yes, if you attack faster you heal more technically.

    Lots of zeros scare people

    hit for 100 heal for 2 every hit

    Since thats where most sins start out when they first get bp

    It should be noted that sage sins raise that to 3% when they get the skill for it

    b:shocked You should never present it like that. A second is a non-relevant timeframe, rather look at it per hit. A sins base attack rate is higher then 1 per second, and 5 aps is normally sparked. You put 2 very unrelated things next to eachother as if there is some kind of link. Like you said, bp heals 2% of the damage dealt. Hitting faster doesn't mean you necessarily do more damage. Besides, there are other ways to increase damage, and thus healing from bp.

    So better rephrase :

    If you deal 1000 per hit, you heal 20 hp.

    Over time, for instance a boss-fight, you can :
    -up healing by hitting faster
    -up healing by hitting harder
    -up healing with other moderators like weapon proc and crit, that ponctually increase bp by a lot, but are inpredictable.

    Since changing 1 of the 3 will inevitably change the other 2, you can't say hitting faster will make you heal more.

    Pretty sure the "over time" thing is another aspect of people only considering aps.

    There's a ton of faults with the "per second" thing. For example, if you APS is not an integer, which in the Assassin case would include 1.25, 1.33, 1.54, 1.82, 2.22, 2.5, 2.86 and 3.33, not account for when you use Chill of the Deep, then you can't use a single second as your monitor as you're only getting that amount of heals on average, which does not reflect reality accurately.

    My guess: This guy is another one of those that justifies going Demon by saying that on average, a 5.0 Demon heals the same as a 3.33 sage.

    Also, his example is worthless. The only thing it shows is the obvious: that dealing more damage makes you heal more from a skill that heals you based on the damage you deal. Tautologies ftw!

    It's not the just foreign part; Empu and Olbaze are foreign (to me anyway; I'm from the Us), but rock English and are among the most intelligent players on my server. It's the lack of English skills.

    Fear not, my young friend. There's a big, fat ocean separating me from the US. Well, not just the US, but also TW. Oh and you have to go across about half of Europe before you'd even land from my home country to Great Britain.

    But yes, majority of people have some kind of attitude that sums to either "Well you understand it so who cares how it looks, I'm busy updating Facebook here" or "Well you folks can just spend 10 minutes decoding what it is that I could mean, come up with 10 different ways and find that 9 of them are wrong, right?"
